Tactician and foregoing prerequisites-PFS

Dark Archive

So I was looking at getting Scions of the Lost Empire as my first Cavalier teamwork feat to handout. I haven't seen anyone use it, but a +2 on a d20 roll of your choice every round is pretty handy. On reading it again I'm not sure if the Cavalier's ability to ignore prerequisites opens the feat up to everyone.

Prerequisites: Human (Chelaxian or Taldan).

Benefit: While you’re adjacent to an ethnically Chelish or Taldan ally who also has this feat, you gain a +2 competence bonus on a single attack roll, saving throw, ability check, or skill check as an immediate action. You must choose to use this ability before making the roll.

Thoughts

they are able to have the feat, but wouldn't get benefit unless next to an appropriate person.

I'm with chess- it won't have any real benefit, especially in PFS- where a character's backstory/ethnicity is the last thing on a person's mind when building a character.

Escape Route/Outflank are much better Teamwork feats to hand out, than a +2 to any roll for a handful of seconds. Remember- Tactician is 3+X rounds per day (X is your cavalier level); a round is 6 seconds. Outside of combat, it's useless.
