Looking for a good t7-11 to run.

Grand Lodge 3/5

Greeting all, my monk recently survived a romp through Curse of the Riven Sky module and is on her way to becoming a Seeker.
So, as a final hurrah before i patiently wait for my Venture Captain to run Eyes of the Ten, I'm looking for a good t7-11 mission for my Monk get credit for if i run the game. Primarily, looking for a good boon that would benefit a monk. [no spoilers needed, just shoot off names of scenarios and i'll look into the scenario.]

She's been through the Echoes of the Everwar story, Darkest Abduction, Ironbound Scism, Abducted in Aether, Red Harvest and Kortos Envoy as several of her t7-11 missions.

Why dont you play this last one as it is your last hurrah instead of giving pc gm credit?
Play waking rune.

Season 4 comes with some great boons, at a price. 04-10 Feast of Sigils and has probably the best boon there is. Bit of a waste to stick it to someone who only has Eyes to look forward to, though.
Similarly, 04-12 Refuge of Time also has a great boon you probably want to make better use of, but still.

Grand Lodge 3/5

T7-11's are infrequent in my play group.
When Curse of the Riven Sky was offered, a few players signed up that had been waiting for a good last hurrah.
mostly, we have a lot of mid-tier and low tier player show up, so my best option may be run one myself.

i have an 9th lvl and an 8th lvl character i could apply those too as well.

I got access to Refuge of Time and Waking Rune, and do agree those are good boons.
A "free feat" at the cost of an Atonement spell and detecting as evil, would be honestly worth replaying and burning GM stars. [Most of my characters are Neutral, and the alignment shift would put them out of commission]
I'll have to look into the Thassolonian Magic stuff via the Waking Rune boon, but the rune itself may also warrant GM-Star replays.

Thassilonian Magic didn't interest me as I don't like d6 casters, but there's some cool stuff you can do with it.

A Pathfinder is supposed to take the mission they're assigned, without concern for the reward.

buzzkill. :p what's wrong with giving my Monk one last prize for her dedication to the Society?

I know stuff from the early seasons don't give a lot in the way of unique boons, and the notice that "season four has some really good boons" is enough to take a gander through the scenarios.

What's wrong with it, is that it's Chronicle fishing, and that's as close to cheating as you can come without actually cheating. (It actually *is* cheating if you were playing the scenario, but you specified you'd be running it to avoid the risk.) I suspect that this is why almost no one is giving you the answers you're asking for here.

Aside from that, Eyes of the Ten was written before APG came out, let alone ACG and hundreds of feats that give you superpowers compared to the CRB. You do not need extra power to ruin that scenario for the other people at the table.

Lyrics of Extinction. It'll be a great time.

I'm partial to The Flesh Collector. Especially for a monk, especially if you worship Irori.

No boons if I recall right, but the flavor of the scenario is its own reward.

Cultists kiss and port godless are excellent, if long scenarios

5/5 *****

Port Godless is 5-9

The Sealed Gate is fun for the whole family!

i understand the Boon Fishing aspect, but i'm also looking for a worthwhile adventure for my monk. she is 11/2.5 and i'll be taking the reward at half progression.

surviving the mission itself is it's own reward, i know, but when the character is heading towards retirement, why not treat her?

There is certainly power creep in some aspects of the game - although some of the most blatantly broken bits of the game are in the core rulebook - but I don't think any amount of Chronicle Fishing will cause a 12 level Monk to be able to break EotT compared to a 12th level wizard/cleric/arcanist, etc.

Though I do agree, generally you should play what's available/what's in character, rather than with the coolest boon - but if he's GMing, at least he's also contributing to the Society.

Scarab Sages

You could play through Portal of the Sacred Rune or Waking Rune. Both are fun scenarios, though I will say that Waking Rune is more fun if you've also been through the "lead up" scenarios from Season 4.

Have you thought of doing the All for Immortality seeker arc? Eyeys of the Ten may be a fun scenario but it's been showing it's age for a while, it's also good for characters 12-15, meaning you could play through some modules with the character first.

Our GM said that Eyes was a bit dated, especially after 5+ years of additional content, and said he'd found an "updated" version that scales power up a bit. Don't know where he found it or if it's something he made himself, but it added a few Mythic levels to most encounters and that made a lot of difference. We still felt how the fights were originally meant to be run, but things like double initiative and such really scaled it back to our level. Without it, I'd say it'd have been a letdown.

Was this for PFS? Because if so, the series has to be run as written; GMs are not allowed to change anything (other than tactics if the PCs negate the written ones). Changing the scenarios would invalidate the chronicle sheets and any credit gained, as you didn't actually play the sanctioned scenarios. If this was not for PFS though, then it's all good, and I'm glad you had fun!
