A perfect number, since it is the sum of its divisors: 1+2+4+7+14=28).
What we know and don't know about perfect numbers is amazing. We still don't know if there are any odd ones (though there are so many constraints on what it would be like, people's instinct is that they don't exist).
We know that the even ones all end in ...6 or ...28 :)
I think we've only found less than 50 all up (and there are likely some gaps). The biggest ones we know are monumental.
From memory, it's still an open question whether there's an infinite number of them (which is an unsettling thing to not know, as a mathematician!)
