What would Pazuzu do?

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

I have a character (an elven witch) in my campaign who has been noticed by Pazuzu.
I have been foreshadowing things for awhile now. She sees Pazuzu in her dreams, crows seem to follow her around, locusts swarm from under her bed, etc...
Anyway, my plan is that Pazuzu is going to possess her (the specifics of this are too long to talk about right now)...but I'd like it to be a slow process where Pazuzu has some kind of end game that he wants to use the PC for.
Any ideas what kind of endgame that would be?

I had something similar to this in my Jade Regent game. One of the characters had a backstory that she was nearly sacrificed to Pazuzu by the serial killer Chopper before the sheriff intervened and killed Chopper, and since the early parts of the AP have a Pazuzu theme with a Pazuzu item that only works for Pazuzu worshipers, I decided to let it work for her too, but it gave her these weird dreams and omens like with you. They built up, until the party picked a very difficult fight (they made a deal with an evil NPC from Part 3 of the AP in order to ally against their ultimate foes, but then some of the PCs had a change of heart and decided to renege and kill the Part 3 enemy, but about half of the party refused to help, so the encounters were extremely hard because they were built for the whole party), at which point Pazuzu started whispering in her head, very reasonably and politely, with an offer that if she spoke his name three times, he would kill the bad guy and save her friends. She eventually agreed as the fight continued to deteriorate, and so she became possessed.

My endgame for Pazuzu in specifics would involve spoilers for the AP, but in generics, he wanted to co-opt a massive sacrifice intended for another Demon Lord and take control of a wind-based McGuffin, which he believed rightfully belonged to him as the Lord of Winds. Do you have any other interesting evil plots going on in the campaign right now. Having Pazuzu trying to co-opt them is a solid narrative idea because it creates a situation where the PCs might need to team up with their previous enemies in order to take out (and save in the PCs' case, unless their villain team-up betrays them) the possessed PC.

Be a behind the scenes player in "The Exorcist" and possess Linda Blair?

You know, you said his name three times. Isn't that the first step in opening the door to him?

Well, if you can find a way to turn yourself into a kobold, I have a pretty good idea of what the endgame will be...
