Stand Still+Weapon Finesse?

Rules Questions

Can I use Stand Still with Weapon Finesse or do I need to pick Agile Maneuvers?
I know I can use DEX in maneuvers that use finesse weapons but I don't know if Stand Still is considered a weapon maneuver or something like interposing yourself in your opponent's way.

You can use the stand still feat whenever an opponent provokes an AoO by moving through your threatened area by making a combat manoeuvre check as your AoO. Weapon finess doesn't come into it.

A more complete question would be if the Combat maneuver is or can be made with a weapon, adding any bonus you have to weapon attacks including weapon finesse.

I don't think that's the case, Stand Still seems to be just a generic CMB check.

I meant, if you have weapon finesse, can you replace your STR for DEX in your CMB check to make a Stand Still attempt or would you need Agile Maneuvers to do it?

Stand still does not use a weapon or imply it's use so you really need agile manoeuvres or to sweet talk your GM.

Actually I'm the GM so I'm glad to know that I'm going to get some sweet talk.
I expected it to work as you said anyway. Just wanted to confirm.

Stand Still doesn't use the reach of the weapon - it only works on adjacent enemies - so there's no reason to think it uses the weapon at all. Agile Maneuvers would work but not Weapon Finesse.

Hadn't thought of the reach. That's enough confirmation to me to prove that you're not using a weapon for that check.

If your not even using your hand(an unarmed strike is a weapon whether you have Improved Unarmed Strike or not) then how are you stopping them? Politely asking them not to stand there? You're clearly not moving out of your square and into a square in their way, and even then they could use more of their move speed to go around.

Maybe a body-check. Maybe it's like trip, but doesn't bring the opponent prone. It's abstracted for ease of adjudication.

Unarmed strike is only using your hand to strike for damage. Several other maneuvers are clearly you using your body to push, pull, or stop an opponent but they do not benefit from unarmed strike feats or enchantment bonuses. Grapple, overrun, bull rush, dirty trick, and stand still all require agile maneuvers, not weapon finesse.
