I need help with an idea. So far in this campaign of Hells Vengeance I haven't felt really evil. Whenever I feel wishy washy I usually come up with somethingredients better to try and this time I've come up with something based on a picture.

yes I know where it's from and that's the exact basis. How does one make a controller of demons and devils as well as crippling spells? Just plain old wizard? I want to bounce ideas around.

Wizard/Sorc/Arcanist are all good choices. If you're looking for something a little different you could probably also play a Cleric/Oracle (of Asmodeus) since they get all the Summon Monster spells. Throw on a few good feats/items to improve your summoning of devils. You could even play a summoner (though summoners have fewer debilitating spells).

I guess I should flesh out the background a bit more.
She was a student at a Chelish Academy and was a great student until she got into the class of dark arts in her 3rd year. There she got a taste of real power and has been addicted to it ever since. Any way she could get power she'd try it, though most ways came down. to making a deal with a devil or offering souls to a demon. She still couldn't get enough, and not everyone was so compliant so she turned to torture those she was to fees to demons and devils, taking her frustrations out on them through magical means.
I want to make her primary function be summoning demons and devils, as well as crippling foes through debuff.
20 points, it's Hells Vengeance so Evil is encourage but not a must. Loyalist of Thrune Yada Yada. What I am wondering is if there are easier or more fun ways to make this rather than just a wizard/sorcerer/summoner/arcanist, if not that's fine.

Unchained Summoner with Devil Eidolon, of course! :)
There's a GREAT example with killer pic in the Curse of the Crimson Throne Deluxe Edition NPC section! if you have it turn to p.457 -- Shadowcount Sial and Asyra -- also depicted here... I think the eidolon is the one on the right licking the blade...

I don't know who the happy one on the left is (I haven't read the CotCT AP yet...) I just meant the CotCT Deluxe Edition statted the Shadowcount as an Unchained Summoner.
About Unchained Summoner being OP: I thought they made the Unchained Summoner to nerf the class? what are the main differences between classic Summoner and Unchained Summoner other than the Eidolon? I *thought* they nerfed the spell list...

BTW, the reason I recommended Unchained Summoner is based on your comment: "What I am wondering is if there are easier or more fun ways to make this rather than just a wizard/sorcerer/summoner/arcanist, if not that's fine."
I find that Unchained Summoner is a great mix: you get to have fun in melee through your Eidolon, and you're not 'just a slave to your melee' like a fighter, because the other half of you is a spellcaster (admittedly devoted mostly to buff the Eidolon, but regardless! tons of melee, PLUS spells, so tons of actual options at the table - and I'm not even counting the stuff you can do with wands, staves, scrolls etc)

Oh, and I forgot to mention that the Devil Impostor is just BEGGING to be played for Hell's Vengeance! i.e. you're a spellcaster who conned the entire country into thinking you're binding devils, meanwhile you found a way to do it without risking dealing with actual devils... (I bet Asmodeus must be cringing at you for figuring out at loophole... ;) )

They did, pretty hard. The USummoner is probably the level 6 caster with least early access spells.
But hey, if the DM thinks unchained is the bad version, feel free to use the original one. It is not as focused on debuffs as the right sorcerer, but can keep up with one well enough.

I just think he doesn't 100% understand it. I like the original summoner more than unchained, because the high customization.

I played the original and back then was pretty amazed at how early they got some of the spells (I honestly thought it was broken and kinda felt like I was cheesing the game when I was bringing the character). I read the USummoner but haven't played it; I like the thematic eidolons better than the fully customizable ones (whose vagueness led to much cheese)
