I was toying with a build for a Dex magus that's not a scimitar DD monkey.
As i was looking i saw indications that putting agile on a weapon was no longer possible, i can't find a specific ruling on this, can someone help me out?

Yes, the Agile weapon still works.
Here's a Magus handbook with lots of suggestions that aren't based on scimitar + shocking grasp.
If you allow third party, DreamScarred Press has a feat that is the Agile enchantment.
A human Kensai Magus who selects an appropriate primary weapon can have the three feats needed to use Dex to hit and for damage from 1st level.

Slashing Grace and Fencing Grace don't work with spell combat, so consider an archetype that trades out spell combat.
I strongly recommend against that. Spell Combat is a much more powerful ability than dex-to-damage. And more fun, too. Besides, as this thread points out, there's other ways to get dex-to-damage.

Or just take them as extra damage when you're not doing spell combat. Use spell combat when you need to deliver a boatload of damage.
