Paladin Archetypes: Is the Oath of Vengeance Archetype compatible with the Tempered Champion Archetype?

Been looking over the Oathbound Archetypes for Paladins. Initially, it seems like one of them (the Oath of Vengeance) is compatible with my favourite Archetype for Paladins, the Tempered Champion.

Thing is, all Oathbound Archetypes add spells to a paladin's spell list. Which Tempered Champion takes away. So does that mean that the Oath of Vengeance and all Oathbound Archetypes are incompatible with Tempered Champion, or can you take both Archetypes?

By strict RAW, both archetypes modify spells. So yes, they are incompatible.

I figured. I play with a guy who thinks Oath of Vengeance is the best Archetype for paladins. I think Tempered Champion is the best. I was wondering if they could both be put on the same character. But it looks like it's an either/or deal.

yeah, paladin stacking doesn't really happen.

If either of you two are GMing and aren't in an organized play setting, you could agree to let the archetypes stack.

Literally everything can be left to GM discretion, so it doesn't help by the rules. These two unfortunately don't stack.

if its for pfs no by raw you cant do it but no reasonable gm should say no to it stacking one grants extra spells the other takes spells away as a gm i let them stack as a player i bring it up with gms and ask most are lenient and let them stack and it wont break anything by letting them stack

This isn't for PFS. It's for future home campaigns, for those that are curious.
