Since the reintroduction of the Off-Schedule Subscription Shipping Options feature, I am trying to determine the best way to keep the monthly shipping thread from getting out of hand. I'm going to try splitting up stickied release threads based on release dates. If you have any comments or questions or suggestions, please let us know!

If you have chosen for your Comics Subscription to "Ship items from this subscription as they arrive in our warehouse." :

Comics Subscription Releases in November
Pathfinder Comics: Worldscape #2 Paizo.com Exclusive Cover
Pathfinder Comics Deluxe: Worldscape #2: Covers by Reilly Brown, Sean Izaakse, Tom Mandrake, and the Paizo.com Exclusive Cover

  • Authorization (Order Spawning) Date: (Monday) November 7th Nov 8th? (awaiting stock to arrive)
  • Begin Shipping Estimate: (Wednesday) November 9th
  • End Shipping Estimate: November 16th
  • Street Date for Comics: November 16th

If you have both monthly and off-schedule subscriptions, you can select what to do with any non-subscription items you put into your sidecart.
You can ship any non-subscription items with the earliest possible subscription shipment or with your subscriptions that have products releasing with the the monthly Paizo published new releases.
You can make this choice from your My Subscription page.
Remember, once we create a subscription order, if you still want to add items, make sure you choose to add items to the specific order that has been created.
Adding them to the sidecart after we have run our order creation process means they will wait until the next shipment based on your subscription settings.

**If your Paizo Monthly November shipment has not shipped and is not preparing to be shipped when we generate comics orders *and* you have selected "ship as soon as possible" for comics, your comics Worldscape #2 may be combined. If you need to be sure it will or will not be combined please contact customer service as soon as possible.**

If you have chosen to "hold for monthly paizo shipment" for your comics subscription, after I do the order creation (estimated Nov 9th) you should see Worldscape #2 in your sidecart.


Hi Sara

I've been toying with the idea of switching up my shipping method from time to time (essentially choosing between USPS to my PO Box mostly but UPS to work when I just can't wait). Your bolded, double-asterisked warning made me think:

What would happen if my currently pending November shipment hadn't yet been picked (set to go to the PO box via USPS) and I changed my shipping method and address to UPS to work?

Will these two orders only combine if address and shipping method match?

More broadly - does it make any work or create issues for you if I change my shipping method and address around willy nilly depending on which subscription is looming and what's in my sidecart?


And finally (possibly outside your purview) why does my iPad eventually learn that sidecart is a word for a little while before suddenly deciding I must mean "side art" - forcing me to teach it all over again?


Hi. I'm still showing I'm signed up for the comic subscription. My account lists Hollow mountain #6 like it is still pending, though I received it. However, it does not show anything for Worldscape #1 or 2. I have not received them, or any e-mail notifications.

Is there some problem?

I'm currently checked for ship once a month and have no other subscriptions.

I just spoke to you on the phone and I think we got all your questions cleared up. Except the ipad one. But I am afraid I cannot troubleshoot that, and I have no idea why ipads do what they do!

Thank you for letting us know. I have generated an order for Worldscape #1 and you should be receiving an email confirmation for it. We have not run the authorization for issue 2 yet, but are planning to later today. If you do not get an order confirmation let me know. If you do get an order confirmation and it was not generated into the same order as issue 1 let me know and I can merge them. I can't find anything on your account listing Hollow Mountain #6 as pending, I see it as fulfilled when it was shipped out to you. Can you take a screenshot of where you see it pending and email it to customer.service@paizo.com?

I don't have screenshot software, but here's what I'm seeing on my subscriptions page (it has changed since yesterday, and now shows Worldscape #1):

I don't recall for certain if Hollow Mountain #6 was previously listed as most recent or next issue. Either way, I received it months ago, so I'm not worried about that. It simply looked - when I checked Friday - like the subscription was frozen/hanging.

Hmm - I just got an order notification for just the comic, probably related to the reintroduction of the Off-Schedule shipping.

But I never used that option before, so I'm not sure why it's set now. Also, from the '/subscriptions' page, the button is present for "Hold for Monthly Shipment", but it doesn't actually do anything. Similar button "Use my Store Credit" *does* work.

My regular November subs shipment finally left Seattle yesterday (7 days after the "latest shipping" date on that thread.

Both Worldscape #2 and Worldscape #1 (I have the comics subscription) are still in my sidecart.

Hiccups, I guess. No big deal. I can wait until the December shipment.

Hey folks, just a quick update. We did have a hiccup with our Comics order generation process which caused some folks to get a lone comic generated into an order, even if they had set their comics to send with their monthly subscription in December.

By now, we're pretty sure all of these cases have been dealt with. Anyone who had that happened should have received an email and had the comic moved into their sidecart. However, if account was affected and we have not reached out to you yet, please let us know and we'll get it fixed for you.

If you have your comics set to ship as soon as possible, they should be heading out the door pretty soon if they have not already.

I'm sorry for the confusion with this, but I believe the My Subscriptions page may be experiencing a display glitch. That page can be a bit temperamental from time to time.

However, I noticed that you've only got the Comics subscription, so your order should have been generated by the comics authorization. I will go ahead and get your order generated in a few minutes, and then I'll send you a confirmation email. Feel free to look over that email to verify that the details are correct, and let me know if anything needs to be changed. Then once our warehouse has processed it for shipping, they'll send you a shipment confirmation to let you know.

It looks like yours was one of the comics that was caught up in the authorization when it should not have been. I believe you should have received an email update about this as well, but just in case you haven't seen it, I just wanted to let you know that the comic was moved to your sidecart. Let us know if there's anything else we can help out with!

I don't know if this is helpful or not, but Greendragon1133 doesn't show up as a subscriber on the forums (at least to me). I only mention it since perhaps that it tied to the issue with this order not spawning.

I got the email. Everything looks right. On My subscriptions page, Under "My Subscriptions" (at the bottom) it is also shown as pending. But at the top of the page (the section I quoted) it has not changed. Another Hiccup?

Hmm, yeah. That sounds like it's our system being stubborn. I'm going to let our tech team know to take a peek and see if it's just a display glitch, but in the meantime, your order should be fixed. I'd just say to keep an eye out around the next comic release and let us know if one does not generate to your account automatically.
