Advice

Hello,

I have been away for a couple years from Pathfinder society. I have 2 characters made up and registered from 2014. One of the characters was an Assimar Cleric (Merciful Healer) of Pharasma. I played the character in 1 or 2 scenario's and then had alot of real life problems get in the way of me playing him again. I just went to play him recently in a game and the GM said he is not legal anymore because Assimar are not a playable race unless you get a Boon? Is that correct? Anyway here is my character to see if maybe it was some other problem the GM had and not the Race.

Aasimars are not a legal race for new character creation. HOWEVER, as long as your character has a chronicle sheet showing that he was played at least once before August 14th 2014, your character is legal as a grandfathered aasimar character.

You may refer your GM to this blog post by Mike Brock

Edited my post to include a source. Sorry about that!

Hmm here is part of the problem. The games I played in were online in a group I found on the google group, The Pathfinder Society Online Collective. How do I prove I played in a game years ago? Isnt it the GMs job to report who plays in what game and when?

The GM should have filled out and sent you chronicle sheets, which is your proof of having played.

If you are missing your chronicles, you should try and contact the GM and get new ones issued.

Looks like you had one game in April of 2014? And fortunately the GM for that game is a Venture Agent, so they should be able to get you all squared away!

Just contact them and they can sort it all out for you :)

How do I find the information on the GM and stuff? Sorry I had just gotten involved in Pathfinder Society when all hell broke lose in my life so I am learning alot still.

Yes, you should have a chronicle sheet for every game you have played wether online or in person. If you check your online record and it shows up, you can contact any of the Online Venture-Officers and they should be able to issue/reissue the chronicles for those games.

You can get the Venture-Officer listing by clicking here.

As mentioned before, if you have a chronicle dated before 8/14/14 your Aasimar is still legal. Thank you.

On your game listing under the GM column, you should find the GM name. That name is linkable to the GMs profile. You should be able to send him a PM or and E-Mail (if his profile has it added).

Ok I messaged the GM. Lets hope he is still active and willing to help. I was really enjoying the Character.

If you do not hear from him in a reasonable amount of time, please contact me directly and I will work to get this taken care of for you.
