So I know that strong jaw, wild shape, and vital strike do 16d6 damage.
What happens if I'm hasted, can I do it twice in a round?

If so *boom mic drop*

Bachusa

No, Vital Strike is worded as a replacement to your attack, and is not a full round attack. Haste only applies to a full round attack. Vital Strike is very specifically worded to prevent shenanigans unfortunately.

No. Vital Strike can only be used when making a single attack.

You cannot use vital strike twice because of haste.

Scarab Sages

However, there are ways you can get a second attack after using a vital strike. If your wild shape form has the trip ability, and you have greater trip and or vicious stomp, then you can take make a free trip manuever after you hit with vital strike, and if that is successful you can make one or two AoOs.

It's still worth clarifying though, that's triggered attacks from your initial attack with vital strike would not get the benefit of vital strike.

Imbicatus is merely trying to illustrate how you can provoke additional attacks outside of the normal action economy stream.
