Giant Weapon Wielder (Ex)
At 1st level, a titan fighter can wield two-handed melee weapons intended for creatures one size category larger than himself, treating them as two-handed weapons. He takes an additional –2 penalty on attack rolls when using an over-sized two-handed weapon.
meteor hammer is a dual weapon when using it in "Meteor: In meteor mode you use it as a double weapon." so i would need two-weapon fighting to get it two -2 and oversized weapons are a -2 and he would also get another -2? so all together a -6? also spending a feat to know how to use it.

because he's using a large THW which normally isn't allowed. This archetype lets you break that rule by giving you an additional -2.
Usually it's really not worth it to do this. attack bonuses are about equal to 2 damage. So taking a -4 better give you about 8 damage, else it's a bad deal. And since using a large weapon nets you about +1 damage per hit, that's a really bad trade.

so he would get a +2 to two-weapon fighting with a large meteor hammer and +4 to to use it as a reach weapon as a third lvl fighter (titan fighter). i did not even think about added dmg that a large weapon might give.
a large masterwork meteor hammer does 2d6, +6 dmg because of str (+1 to hit). what am i missing?

so str 18 fighter lv3 with masterwork = +8 to hit.
now since you're lv3 the oversized penalties are reduced by 1.
reach mode = +5 for 2d6+6 damage
TWF mode = +3 for 2d6+4 and +2 for 2d6+2
using normal fighter
reach mode = +8 for 1d8+6
TWF mode = +6 for 1d8+4 and +6 for 1d8+2
average damage for 2d6 = 7 and average damage for 1d8 = 4.5
