Help with Bard for Reign of Winter

Advice

I am looking at building a bard for Reign of Winter PFS campaign and need some help with creating it. I want to be a controller bard or skill monkey in a sense. I have a group that will be very well focused on doing lots of damage so want to do more battlefield control etc. Any suggestions on what to take or stat build?

You didn't hear this from me... but I've heard that fire is pretty good to bring. If you're not interested, at least tip your friends about that.
In theme with that: Flame Dancer would be nice. Otherwise, vanilla Bard seems to be just the thing you want.

A good things, Blistering Invective is on the Bard spell list. Focus on an intimidate build.

Who needs to do that when there is the feat Disconcerting Knowledge from Horror Adventures? Simply intimidate by making a Knowledge check...which a bard should excel at, easily.

Flame Dancer is good. Sound Striker is fun.

Blistering Invective is a good spell, but not necessary if you have the feat I mentioned above.

Blistering Invective does Fire damage (possibly even continuing Fire damage) in an AP where many, if not most, enemies are vulnerable to the Fire energy type.

Additionally, Blistering Invective is effectively Dazzling Display at a Standard Action, instead of a Full Round Action.

I believe that you could even use the Feat you mention in conjunction with the Spell.

Sovereign Court

If you go Halfling you could take their racial Helpful trait and also get the Bodyguard feat to buff your allies' ACs. That and Flagbear, eventually grabbing a Banner of the Ancient Kings is pretty dang awesome for a pure support bard.
