So I made a Kobold Bushwacker/Mysterious Stranger as a backup for my Skull and Shackles campaign. Why Mysterious Stranger? Because I find it funny. Stats are, without magic items, 7/17/12/14/10/18, using a double-barrelled pistol.

Three questions concerning the sneak thing. First being, from my understanding of how Shifty Shot works, I need to only have Grit to use it, right? If so, when I use Shifty Shot and Sneak Shot together, does using both barrels each get a separate sneak attack? Lastly, since I'm using a pistol, and pistols are loud, do I get a penalty to my stealth check after sniping?

You only get precision damage once on a double-barrelled weapon. Less sure about stealth.

There are no rules which explicitly say that firearm loudness affects Stealth, so if this were for PFS, the answer would be no. However, I think giving you an extra Stealth penalty (say, -5) for sniping with one seems reasonable enough in a home game scenario.
