Hi every one!
A Friend of my wants to make a Pathfinder Campaign in the world of dofus the MMO. I like the idea, it will only take the pases, ideas and monsters. So the bast marotity of monster gonna be housemade.
But my concern is that I wanted to play a Cavalier and mount a Gobball, how do you convert that monster in particular.
Also, if you have played dofus or know somebody who have converted some of its content could you led me to him, it´s a hard work and all help will be neded.
Thanks!!

Bytheway! this is a Jalato

Tagging.. cause. i LOVE DOFUS! Well.. I used to anyway, from Beta till about 2012. Sram it up. Wish I could find a similiar game these days.
I'll send this over and/or ask a GM i know who has played Dofus too about the gobbal idea.

So are you mostly just after the Gobbal converstion or anything else? I hope your GM will adapt the levels into life/stages of gobbal. All the up to Royal.

also if your gonna use a sword. You need to put all 4 elements enchantments on it. Even if its not exactly efficient.

Also "take the pases, ideas and monsters" What is a pases?

Its a typo, i shall write Places XD
Sorry about that.

I´ll be using a Lance and a Gratesword, not at the same time but one on my Gobbal back and one on foot.

I´m Personaly just after the Gobbal stats but if you find more then it will be helpfull for my DM.

I also used to play dofus till 2.0 then stop

I am a huge Wakfu fan. You have my interest.

Wakfu is pretty fun. Although kinda depressing when it first came out. The story effectively declared that anything I did in Dofus... was pretty much a drop in the hat haha. Which was fine, but they had started inserting a world story at that point compared to before, where it had no over arching world story and was just about screwing around.

I played 2.0 for a while. but the player base is just soo toxic last couple of years, that the sub price just wasn't worth it anymore, and most folks i knew moved on anyway.

Haven't had a reply from my friend yet. I'm not good at making stats though...

other than starting off wit ha white or black gobbal, then a gobbal, than a war cheif, then a royal gobbal maybe. Perhaps every 5 levels. Though the problem with that is you couldn't honestly ride one until a War Cheif.. so i guess toss that idea out.

Warcheif then later on some sorta feat at level XX to turn it into a royal.

Warcheifs have crazy movement so i guess give it something like 50ft a round. (that is what thigns like horses and such have i think? it should be simliar ish) It should have a bite attack, and you should check up the gobbal stats and look at its resistances and then tack that onto pathfinder elements (acid=earth)

I'm not very familiar with mounts to suggest more though. Cavilier stats out mount progression doesn't it? similiar to how summoner stats out the progression?
I'd look at a bear or a large badger for base stats and get something in between those for the War Cheif. Lore wise a warcheif is effectively a blackbear in size and power.

The world stoy was finding the Dofus, whitch is petty much like screwing around untill you take a side between angels and demons, then you kind of fight for turf, which is... sometimes nice, sometimes not so much jeje

My DM seds that I could start whith a Large White gobbal and at lv 10 it´ll be a Warchief, but movement and things like that arent gonna be so impressive until that

Cavaliers Have full BAB, a d10 worth of HP, a semi smite and the animal companion progresses like a druid animal companion, it´s an all around class but the vast majority of his abilities revolve around mounted combat, wich can be tricky for dungeons and stretch hallways, It's my favorite class anyway jeje

when I say I am a Wakfu fan, I mean the animated series. my bad.

I played Dofus for 5 years before I quit, such good times. Was an Ecaflip back when Feline's Leap actually teleported you a square. Also tried Wakfu when it first , but couldn't really get into it.

Let us know how it goes!

I haven´t see them, My DM is a huge fan and its its favorite show tough

I've only seen part of it. it is a pretty great show. For sure.

I liked it when it was just screwing around, and you could join pvp if you wanted.
but the world story i was talking about was the whole collecting dofi to prevent the world breaking thingy from happening. Which lead to all the dungeons having to be beaten etc. Though it has no real "end" story as of yet. (supposidly at some point it will). It was fun just collecting stuff but when they inserted the story based need, it lot its appeal for me..

So. I don't know how to stat very well. but accordign to my GM friend almost all mounts have basically almost the same stats apparently? Withing margin of error anyway. Except for movement type and speed. So basically go with that, Snag another animal companion's stats, but change the attack to bite. Give them scent (Gobbals, for the longest time, would ignore invisibility and find you anyway) if you end up trying to make more attacky, while staying in flavor of hte game. toss out the iterative bites and give it one big vital striked bite. Which represents the game better. Gobbbals only hit once, where as some animations have multi hits.
probably should have lowlight vision at least as well given how often they show up in caves.

Thanks a Lot, this was a fun thread and a berry helpfull one, Maby I Post the Gobbal in the end somewhere. :)

I'd be interested to see how itgoes
