Mooncursed Barbarian, Unchained or Core?

Advice

Since the Mooncursed Barbarian archetype replaces the standard rage bonuses with something similar to Wildshape, I would like help deciding on whether I should use the Unchained or Core version of the class. It seems that the main difference is the rage powers. This is likely for PFS. Mainly I would like help on how to decide which version. Thank you in advance.

I don't have access to the archetype, but if it alters the Rage feature, you need to be regular Barbarian, I think. There's a clause somewhere that says you can't take archetypes that alter Rage if you're an UnBarian.

yes, for PFS all barb archetypes are valid for Unchained that don't alter the rage mechanic. Since this does it means in PFS you can't be an unchained mooncursed.

Right, my bad. Thank you and never mind.

The regular rage powers are stronger on a chained barb anaway. Since you don't gain the normal rage benefits in either case, there no real reason to go unchained anyway.
