I have a bit of a fixation with mixing flavors that don't normally go together. Wizard/Witch, Druid/Rogue, whatever I can think up. The one that has been itching at me recently is the Alchemist/Paladin - the Alchemadin. It sounds like fun, but I can't think of a way to make it work, lets see if you can.
Let's assume high power game - 25 point buy. The goal is to make the character functional and play distinctively. Holy grenades of Antioch? Mutant paladin with an axe and a drug filled rage? Let's make it work people.
If we can'take it work at 25 point buy, up it to 35 and check that.

Alchemist base class.
Crypt Breaker archetype:
- You are not going to put your mind at stake so no Mutagen. Instead, you work with your Draught, which makes you able to find and destroy fiends in the darkest locations.
- You use your bombs mostly to destroy undead.
Discoveries:
- Holy Bombs, Precise Bombs + Fast Bombs. This is how you smite evil.
- Celestial Poisons, mostly making CHA-targeting poisons to reduce the power of undead and fiends.
- Ranged baptism because it's hilarious.
- Spontaneous Healing + Healing Touch, because this is your Lay on Hands.
- Preserve Organs, Lingering Spirit, Mummification, because you need to survive the horrors of the night.
Feats:
- Medium/Heavy Armor Proficiencies.
- Power Attack.
- Iron Will.
- Lots of Extra Discovery.
Half-Orc Race
- Proficiency with falchions/greataxes
- FCB for more bomb damage!
- Skilled alternate racial: more skills, replaces redundant Darkvision (Crypt Breaker takes care of it)
- Unflinching Valor alternate racial: no need to be intimidating, but we can use to show our courage.
- Sacred Tattoo alternate racial: no need to be ferocious when we have the blessing of our divine patron.

Is the Metamorph acceptable for the Alchemist side? If not then I would go Beastmorph. The main idea is to focus on Mutation and physical perfection. Irori and Kurgess would be good gods to follow.
I'm mostly looking to combine the classes into a functional whole. Doing a divine fluffed alchemist is easy. Stuffing a single level of alchemist for a mutagen into paladin is also a thing, but that's not what I'm going for. Not an even split necessarily, but something that takes elements from both.

My idea is then to take Beastmorph for the Alchemist side. I would take either Irori or Kurgess as your god. I would mainly focus on buffing myself. I will have to get back to you on the Paladin side.
EDIT: For the Paladin side, Oathbound (Oath Against the Wyrm) is the only one that really fits the concept.

It's horribly MAD, isn't it?
What do we want from each side, work from there.
Best bits of Paladin: Smite, Divine Grace, BAB/HP, LoH.
We need at least 2 levels and we need to use Cha.
Nohwear, you have something with Beastmorph. The Paladin side works with the melee aspect and we kind of want to get rid of poison use as a Paladin and we don't care about poison resistance.

If you want a mix of melee and ranged, then get 14s in everything but Wisdom, or some layout like that. You could instead focus on ranged and forego Srength.
Spells per day, spell level, and DCs will always be behind the curve so it's fortunate that the two lists have a variety of self-buff spells.
Bombs will help you succeed on your Smite Evil attacks. You will have lower bomb damage and lower Smite Evil damage, but I think thay will balance out.
You'll have healing from two sources but will be healing less damage at a time. You'll probably use Lay on Hands (swift action) and save extracts for other uses, so the amount healed will be lower.
I feel like this character will eventually have a great variety of skills, combat options, and spells, will not excel at much and never get to enjoy higher level class abilities the way the other PCs will. I think the character can contribute and even survive, but rarely thrive.
