There are some pretty powerful Arcanist exploits (I'm particular fond of Counterspell.)
Their is an exploiter Wizard archetype, which can take arcanist exploits, and is a very powerful option.
At the end of the day though, 9 levels of arcane spells is 9 levels of arcane spells, and class features mostly fade into the background compared to that.

I'd like to include archetypes.
And I forgot to mention, I'm interested in class features other than casting.
The purpose of this question is to decide if we want to keep the Arcanist as a class or f it's better to just canibalize his unique abilties by turning them into feats.
I do not believe that Arcanists gain much that is not related to spellcasting.

I'm aware, I assure you.
So in other words, due to the Exploiter Wizard archetype, there's nothing an Arcanist can trully call just his?

Some of the arcanist's exploits are rather unique. A few that stand out to me are:
Counterspell allows an arcanist to counterspell as an immediate action, rather than the readied action that other casters must use to counter a spell. This makes a big difference in how often counterspelling actually gets used.
Metamixing allows an arcanist to add a metamagic feat to an already metamagicked spell (without using a rod).
Quick Study allows an arcanist to change her prepared spells on the fly (with spells from her spellbook), which adds a ton of utility. Other casters with a spellbook can normally only do this only once at best (via their bonded item).

There are archetypes, such as Twilight Sage. that get more out of certain Exploits then an Exploiter Wizard would.

There aren't any. The arcanist's only class feature is exploits.
I guess Exploiter Wizards can't get greater exploits, but those aren't very impressive.

Yea if you are an evocation school specialist arcanist who takes the potent magic exploit and the mage tattoo and spell specialization feats you can bump a evocation spells CL by 5 easy lol got kicked from a game once because at Lvl 6 I had a fireball doing 9d6 (not even minimizing it, the dm wasn't having it lol

LOL so many people think damage=OP.
God help him if he came across the Crossblooded 1/Admixture Wizard build that at 6 can launch Empowered fireballs for (8d6+18)x1.5 in fire or (8d6+10)x1.5 in Cold, Electricity or Acid. Then at 8 or 9 (build dependent) they can become dazing and provide a great source of 3 rounds of the target(s) doing nothing Crowd Control.
