Does Craft: Alchemy work like crafting a magic item as far as cost? Does it cost half the listed price to create it yourself?
Craft (Alchemy) is adjudicated through the mundane crafting rules, which unfortunately, are pretty terrible.
Depending on what your GM allows, you may be have access to spontaneous alchemy, which is terrible useful, but expensive, or the Alternate Crafting Rules presented in Unchained.
Keep in mind, as an alchemist, you will get a considerable speed boost to this through both class features and the way that mundane crafting rules interact with your skill check, which is also improved as you increase in level. Sadly, even with that on your side, mundane crafting is a slow road. There are Pathfinder crafting calculators available online that can help you with the math if you'd like to go that route; probably spreadsheets available, too.

Price effects completion time. Is the cost to create used for calculation, or is the listed selling cost used?
