Honey anyone?

Rules Questions

Can an Unchained Rogue take Honeyed Words (originally from the APG) as a Rogue Talent? I don't see it in the list of updated Rogue Talents in the Unchained book, nor could I find it in the list of Unmodified Rogue Talents in the sidebar.

I'm trying to convert a regular Rogue to an UnRogue and I can't determine if they left Honeyed Words off the list intentionally or not.

If this is for PFS, there's no mixing. You're either one Rogue, or the other.

If this isn't for PFS, ask your GM if it's okay to transfer over =).

It seems to have been left of. Probably part of deliberately weeding out trap options.

They replaced the "roll skill checks twice" talents for the core rogue with a new talent for the Unchained Rogue: Certainty.

It is available later, has slightly more limited uses... but it allows you to reroll rather than roll twice. Rerolls are basically a lot more powerful and allow you to better manage the limited resource of the talent. Honeyed Words was kind of a trap option because it was so limited in uses and you had to use it before you knew if your first roll was any good.

Thanks everybody. That's exactly what I needed.
