Arloric flings a javelin into the melee, hitting a tiefling in the shoulder and drawing a scream of pain. Kelly slashes at the legs of her opponents, drawing a thin line of blood with her dirk. Alexa whirls and drives her blade into the chest of the tiefling to her side—his heart, if the way he collapses to the floor is an indication. The opening allows Sario to step up and into the fight.
The tiefling witch produces the tail of a salamander and chants an incantation. When finished, his eyes burn as though they were replaced by smoldering coals.
Sario steps through, an open gap to help out her companions.
"You could just flee." Sario tells the teiflings

Uriel shakes his head. "They won't run, but it isn't because they're brave. They fear their demonic masters even more than death." with a look of disgust evident om his face, he hacks at another of the tieflings. [ooc]The blue one directly in front of me.[ooc]

Darya presses the attack with another powerful attack, aimed at cutting down the warrior before her, her fearsome glare never leaving the witch hiding behind the rapidly thinning crowd.

Darya cuts down another tiefling. Another takes his place, but she’s right. Their numbers are dwindling. The warrior clumsily stabs at her with a short blade, but the aasimar knocks the attack away with a sweep of her weapon.
The tiefling facing Uriel ducks under the paladin’s swing and delivers a riposte that grazes his ribs.
Alexa receives a wound from her foe, the tiefling’s sword sinking several inches into her right thigh.

Arloric throws his second javelin over Alexa's head at the enemy before her.
Kelly lashes out again, nearly screaming in her frustration. Why do I have to be so small and weak? I’m hardly contributing at all!
Aberus unstraps his crossbow and loads a bolt.
Alexa whirls and stabs at the one who stabbed her.
"Dorne! You smite the defilers with as much strength as the paladins! Keep it up!" Arloric cheers.

Arloric hurls another javelin, slaying the tiefling near Alexa before it could strike.
Kelly gashes the leg of the tiefling blocking her path back inside with a slash from her gladius, flecks of blood from the arc of her swing spattering the wall.
Alexa, finding herself without an immediate foe, steps forward and plunges her dirk into the gut of the last tiefling with a bow out. The blow is nearly fatal, but the fanatic reaches for his short blade.
"Too close!" the witch shouts. "Baphomet will not fail us, not when we are so close. Push them back, brothers!" The witch’s eyes flare as he stares at Alexa. Searing heat follows his gaze, burning the rogue’s flesh and causing her armor to smoke. Before she catches fire though, Alexa throws herself away from the tiefling’s spell.
Darya presses the attack, striking out at the next opponent to step up before her.
Sario stabs out at the Teifling a head of her.
"Sorry for this, you should have just left and not followed the demons."
Uriel hacks at the tiefling right in front of him. "Die, demon-blooded filth!"

Sario and Uriel both cut down their foes and the remaining two tieflings step towards each other in an effort to keep their enemies from flanking them. One lunges forward with its blade, leaving a deep gouge on Sario’s arm.
Alexa stabs at the tiefling directly to the north of her.
Aberus aims his crossbow at the enemy spellcaster and lets a bolt fly.
Kelly slips around the door frame, back into the room. She takes a position opposite Alexa, and attacks.
Arloric moves into the Garrison, squeezing around Alexa and Sario, and opening himself up to attack.
Then he strikes at the tiefling!

Arloric, Alexa, and Kelly combine to cut down the last remaining tiefling warriors. All that remains is the witch, his eyes burning with hellfire.
"Baphomet, give me the strength to slay these infidels," the red-skinned man intones. Black energy coalesces around his hand and he lunges for Kelly. The halfling barbarian ducks under the clumsy swing, leaving him open for an attack.
As he reaches for Kelley, Darya rushes forward, blade falling with lethal force. "I told you they wouldn't be enough, now in Ragathiel's name, your time has come!"
Still blind. Cant do much.
Sario moves forward past Arloric towards the leader, "There is no reason for this, lay down your arms" Sario says to him, brandishing her spear.
Kelly ducks left, circles, and comes up slashing.
Uriel is just behind Darya, driving forward at he tiefling witch and echoing her words. "Ragathiel, and Vengeance for Kenabres!"
Alexa moves to flank the witch and stabs.
Arloric moves to retrieve his javelins from the fallen while the others finish the leader off, a wicked smile on his face.
The tiefling witch dies in a flurry of flashing blades, his last words a curse cut short by Kelly's cold iron gladius. With the final member of the Garrison's welcoming party bleeding on the floor, the party has an opportunity to take stock after the battle.
Having retrieved his javelins, Arloric takes the time to spit on the dead tiefling.
"Let's fan out then, see what they've been up to since our retreat."
Uriel nods "That's a good suggestion, Arloric. We should be sure not to get too far apart from one another, though."
"Does anyone need healing before we go too far in?"
"I'm a bit worse for wear." Darya says, taking stock of her wounds. "We definitely want to be prepared before we face whoever else is hiding in here."
Kelly sits down, shaking a little from the excitement. "I'm not hurt, just need to catch my breath."
"How fare into this building did you make it before?" Sario asks while moving the bodies outside so they don't further pervert this building
Alexa wobbles. "...I need healing."
“Not past this room.” Kelly replies to Sario’s question
"We should see if they trashed the chapel again."
Arloric sticks his head in to see.
Aberus touches his holy symbol of Sarenrae and fills the room with her radiance.
