Tumor Familiar & ways ta get one...

Hey all.
I'm looking to play an Orc Bloodrager (spell eater) & am wanting to pick up the tumor familiar.

I could go abberant bloodline...not my first choice.

I Could go Crossblooded...ouch on will saves.

I could dip into Alchemist..

I could grab arcane heritage...kinda feat intensive.

Any other ways ta get one?

Pretty sure the Tumor familiar is specific to having the aberrant bloodline or being an alchemist. I don't think it's an option for Eldrich Heritage feats, or any other feat chain to gain familiars.

if you're just wanting a familiar look at bloodline familiars. Trades out your lv1 power for a familiar.
If tumor specific, must be abberant, which is a pretty good bloodline. Reach on rage is pretty nice.

I'm only aware of either Alchemist, or Aberrant Bloodline. I went with Aberrant Bloodrager myself. It's fun enough, and effective.

Side note of warning: if you're looking at Amplified Rage for both you and your Familiar (such as through the Valet Archetype), be sure you have something that can make your Familiar "rage" as well (such as the Rage spell).

I used to think that you both just needed the feat, but you also both need to be raging.
