Interest Check: Out of the Abyss / Princes of the Apocalypse 5e

Recruitment

So I've added these two book to my collection, and was wondering if there'd be any interest in playing? I'd be looking for a group of 4-6 players that would hopefully post often (but I realize that everyday posting isn't very feasible).

Any takers? I've heard great things about both of them, and while I have my own preferences, I'd like to know if there's any interest in either of these adventures.

Bump.

I'm not interested in Out of the Abyss, but don't know much about the other. What's the general idea, and the level range?

Dark Archive

I'm always up for any flavor of 5E. (I'm not playing the cleric though. Someone else needs to do that so I can play a fighter for once. =)

Well, was in a Princes game that just died early in, but Abyss sounds interesting....so, I'd be interested in either :)

Level 3 to 15, the general premise is hunting down and trying to stop the plan of several elemental cults. From some reading, it has some pretty good dungeons, interesting enemies, and still has a bit of a sandbox feel.

Liberty's Edge

Been thinking about joining a 5e game to try out the ruleset. I'm game to play the cleric, and like that you're looking for "fairly frequent" posting instead of "daily". Most of the time I can do daily, just not always.

A 3-15 game against cults sounds fun.

I would be new to the 5e... Haven't played D&D since the early 90s... Pathfinder however i am well versed in... so i am not a complete noob.

I was looking at the SRD the other day and was thinking of rolling up a Ranger, Rouge or Fighter. Something to get me to ease into the 5E setting.

Scarab Sages

This sounds like something I'd like to try.

@GM Amsheagar: Wanna team up? I could make a BattleMaster, and use coordinated Distracting strikes to give your Rogue better chances on your sneak attack! =)

I don't mind newcomers to the system. It's a bit different from pathfinder, but still an overall good system.

Love 5e its a very good system. I like OotA, but either is fine.

Yeah, we could work something out.

Alright, sounds like enough interest to me. I'll set up an official recruitment thread and link it here. Thanks for your opinions and hope to see your submissions.

I would like to join! If you still have room of course. :D love me some 5e

They'll be an official recruitment thread. If there are too many applicants, I'll either create a second table or make a decision based on submissions.

Here's the link for the official recruitment thread. Hope to see you there.
