I am so sad. She dropped my class.

i weep for you :)

Feel sorrier for me!

Submissions and interest have seemed to wane the last few days. With 14 or 15 submissions for 4 slots I think I may cut this off a few days early.

Plase finalize submissions within the next 24 hours so I can begin the selection process.

Thanks.

Will do so tonight

Cezir is ready and finalized.

Kaolith is good to go! Or should I say... bad to go? *Yeaaaaaaaahhhh!!!*

10th grade English teacher here, taking the summer to recover from terrible spelling, a fourth grade national reading level, and lack luster insults

7/8 grade science teacher. teaching summer school because i want to travel. Also, taking some free PD classes because I don't know how to have spare time.

also, i'm pretty sure my two submissions are ready to go!

I took Part I of the National Boards in June.

how was that? I've never done, but thought about it.

Hel Blackfist has been polished up, particularly her background.

When you said 24 hours, you really meant it. :)

It is a 4 part process. The first one goes over content. Then pedagody and reflection upon teaching. NM is a state that pay an additional stipend if the 4 parts are completed and passed. I still need to work on the next 3. 2 from what I understand are a lot of writing but after writing a dissertation I am sure it will be nothing.

Interesting. So NM covers the fees, too? Wow. HI doesn't, I think. At least, last time I checked. But, the DoE here changes their stance on national board status every year: stipends, reimbursement, raise, even if they'll recognize it as something worthwhile. But, if the workload isn't too much, I might reconsider doing it as a matter of honor.

didn't catch that 24-hour window till just now. Glad I had everything done.

I will update the submission list at some point today. Selections will probably come tomorrow. Still waiting to hear back from one more person on selections.

No, they dont cover the fees. However, teachers can take workshops with the Union for a fee. Upon completion there is a stipend that goes with the finishing of the workshop.

I hope I am one of the one chosen. It seems like it will be a fun story.

I think we all feel that way.... and waiting on tenterhooks for the big announcement too.

Wow, 19 submissions for 4 slots! You could run 4 tables with this cast of character. I will not be able to do so as I am stretched to the max. It is going to take some time to sort through all of these.

Worry not, if you are not picked I have a long memory and try to recruit from those who were not picked in the first go around. Also, this is not the only evil campaign I run on these boards...

The following Players are already in:

Antipaladin of Urgathoa - Vadim Graveseker -(kamenhero25)
Inquisitor of Zon-Kuthon (Loup Blanc) &
Alchemist (JD Phipps).

Due to the sheer number of really good submission, I will be choosing 8 instead of 7 characters.

Big party. This will be interesting...

My Rise of the Runelords here on the Boards is 8 and it is working pretty well. I tend to run big parties, my Vampire game on the boards is 13, one PC for each Clan. I ran a table top D&D game once with 11 players for a quite a while :-)

I'm slightly afraid to ask how you manage 13 people online at the same time...

Silver Crusade

Well, considering I have heard that us players are akin to a herd of cats... Well... With food? Or shiny bits. >.>

I honestly have no idea either. >.<

You might want to give everyone the Necromantic Affinity feat for free.

My archetype gets that for free at 5th level!

That's because we're all awesome!! ;)

I did once run a game with 12 people although we started out with 5.

Initial party jad a gargoyle Druid, a half goblin paladin of ilmater, a half elf paladin of heironeous, an elven wizard, and a human rogue. We later added a robot wizard, a centaur cavalier, a werewolf monk (who apparently was stuck in hybrid mode and couldn't spread the curse to others), a chainmail bikini wearing half orc barbarian, and a bunch of other people. Took the party to level 25!

If you're wondering about the weird races...I made the mistake of not specifying what my players could pick from.

Bloodlines.

My characters wonder more how I manage the active NPC list :-)

Take a spin through if you're curious!

Biggest table top party I ran was with 11. A lot of weird races in that one as well but it worked. That party got to level 25 as well. Party started out with 6 went to 11 and by the end was down to 7. Now my table top game is back down to 6 and I am a much happier DM for it!

An interesting thought but no. Of course if the PC's want to do it themselves that would be interesting :-)

In fact that might be a good idea for another evil game I am in.

I once ran a table of twenty at the start of a convention for a sabbat flavored vampire mini campaign... needless to say diablerie galore

All those selected should multiclass druid or summoner to effectively double the table size! Commence shenanigans!

When a new gaming shop opened up about 10 years ago ingot drafted to run a game especially to introduce new people to D and D. I was doing a dragonlance game which became very popular with the middle school kids. I had at one time 25 people at the table and being newer players they died alot. I would save their sheets and when they got to a pivital part of the adventure the bad guy who happened to be a half ogre daughter of Chemosh had all the dead characters raised to zombies to fight the group.

+ Conjurer, and the Leadership Feat / Vile Leadership feat, Cohorts in these classes, etc...

2 people marked this as a favorite.

Biggest session I was in on had ... 29 players, 41 characters. It was the culmination of one GM's running six sizeable gaming groups (several people were in more than one group; I had two characters in that fight myself, and could have had another; one person had four characters) in the same world, and all of them came together in the last battle of a war.

Once I was going to be in a game sort of like that. The GM was running six tables of three players each, with each table being the rulers of their own kingdom. And we were all competing against each other. Tables would sometimes come together for conflicts or alliances between kingdoms. Sadly it never got off the ground.

...And Hell Came with Them! - DM Vengeant's Hells Vengeance Campaign Thread

Its always tough to have to decide among so many good submissions thanks for making it tough and going all out for this one!

Those who did not get picked will be on my list or replacements for both this game and the other Evil Campaign I run.

So sad not to get picked.. but enjoy the game all... do keep me in mind if you need a replacement, I'd love to play!

"Ah Ha! My arcane might will not be ignored!" The Wizard begins to pack to head to Longacre.

Thank you for choosing me, and lets all see what fun we get into.

A pity, but many great characters overall. Enjoy the evil guys.

Wow, lots of magic there.

Oh well. One day ill be able to play my charger

Have fun folks

You know, with the games I am in having significantly diminished in number, methinks I should start paying attention to this thread.

Therefore...

Let. There. Be. Dot.
