I am very excited to run CotCT when the hardcover edition is released.
I am assessing my library of Pathfinder books and would like advice as to what books would be most useful to have when preparing and running a CotCT campaign.
I assume the Guide to Korvosa is helpful (I have that and am reading it over now)
Thanks - and if this has been covered in another thread, please point me in that direction.

"City of Strangers" because you will have the opportunity to visit and perhaps have a side adventure in Kaer Maga.
"Inner Sea Guide" and "Varisia: Birthplace of Legends" to learn more about the lore of the area.
"Artifacts and Legends" for more about certain macguffins.
"Rise of the Runelords #2: The Skinsaw Murders" for insight into "Curse of the Crimson Throne #2: Seven Days to the Grave".

Guide to Korvosa - most of the AP is centered around the city, so having the 64 page about the city is a good thing.
I would also read the two short fiction stories set in Korvosa. The Fencing master and The illusionist

I will echo the above suggestions about the Guide to Korvosa. Great great reference for all sorts of lore goodness that can add to any campaign.
As with many APs I found the timeline of the adventure to be very brisk for better or worse. As such I inserted some PFS scenarios and a module into certain "breather" parts of the story.
"Veteran's Vault" - Takes place in Korvosan sewers.
"The Green Market" - A nice Shoanti-themed stint, also set in Korvosa.
"House on Hook Street" - Much longer than the other two as it is a module, but I'm loving it so far. Takes place in Old Korvosa.
"Fortress of the Nail" is another one that takes place in the nearby Hellknight Citadel if you're interested in fleshing that faction out.
"The Harrowing" and "Academy of Secrets" can also easily be inserted into the AP at various points.
Any of these could be good if you need some padding :)

Guide to Korvosa is a must-have. It will allow you to make the city come to life.
All the other books mentioned in this thread are interesting as well. If you want to do more with the Hellknights, I'd also recommend Castles of the Inner Sea, which contains a write-up of Citadel Vraid.

I'd say it was so necessary it should be included in the hardback.

Thanks for all the suggestions everyone.
Have taken a lot of these on board to flesh out my game as well and reading some of the fiction to try and get a feel for how to describe the city.
I did notice there is a short story called "A Bride in Korvosa" in Pathfinder Chronicler Anthology Vol. I for more fiction.
