Shield of Blades Vigilante Talent Pre-Requisite?

The vigilante’s wild attacks allow him to block his foes’ counterattacks. He gains Power Attack as a bonus feat. If he already has the Power Attack feat, he can immediately swap it for another feat for which he qualified at the level he chose Power Attack.

What I'd like to know is if I need to meet the prerequisites for Power Attack to take this talent, or if this (and other talents that grant bonus feats) allow me to ignore the prerequisites.

As a general rule, any source that grants a bonus feat do not require you to meet the prerequisites, unless otherwise stated.

Johnny I'm going to have to say that's not true at all.

For instance, the Fighter bonus feats that are granted all require you to meet the prerequisites, but don't specify such.

If the ability specifically states the name of the feat and says the character gets it then no, you do not need to meet the prerequisites. So you will automatically get Power Attack once you choose Shield of Blades or, if you already have Power Attack, you may instead pick another feat for which you must meet any prerequisites.

Short of it is, yes, RAW, you can do this, but it's not RAI and likely to receive an errata.

I recall you need to qualify for bonus feats still unless it says you don't.
