So im going to pick up this feat. What spells should i pick up with this feat?

Here are some high on my list:

Level 1- Vanish (The Surprise there is a Paladin's in your face), Feather step (ignore Difficult terrain)
Level 2- Heroism or Mirror Image
Level 3- Good Hope, Displacement (if you didn't do mirror image), Haste
Level 4- D. Door, G. Invis, Freedom of Movement, Echolocation

Scarab Sages

Level 3 - Glibness. No one ever suspects the paladin to lie conceal the truth.

For a level 3 spell, Searing Light sure would be thematic for a Paladin...

ok another question, is it worth going for unsanctioned Knowledge for a 2h pally or a sword and board pally, using 20pointbuy

Go 2-handed. Sword and board is both stat and feat-intensive, and you need the extra feat for Unsanctioned Knowledge. Fill your other feats with things like Fey Foundling or Greater Mercy to offset the lower AC.

I'm a big fan of animate dead at 3rd level (for making mounts and meat shields) and divine power at 4th, but there are plenty of other good 4th level spells like freedom of movement that'll make you more versatile if you don't need or want a strict firepower increase.

2handed.

I like dangerously curious as a trait on my paladins. Come level 5+ you can easily afford a wand of shield...pop it before entering a room you suspect combat for a sweet +4 AC (equivalent to a +2 heavy shield mind you). But for a hell of a lot less.

You casting animate dead your not going to be a paladin for a long time.

That is a discussion that's already been tied up with a bow in several other threads. :p

Smite. Sonic Thrust a quiver.

Alternatively, Chaos hammer!

Scarab Sages

Less controversially, silence is pretty wicked when you're already a skilled fighter. You could even cast it on yourself and just charge 'em!

Chaos hammer is 4th level! :p

If you wanted one of those spells you'd probably go with holy smite anyway, it hits more common targets and has a better rider (blindness prevents line of sight targeting for spells and abilities).

Whoops; yes, I knew that. I'd thought of my own schema for Unsanctioned Knowledge long beforehand, but messed up the steps just now.

I personally like Shield of Faith (saves money on a ring when not smiting), Bladed Dash, Haste, and Divine Power/Dimension Door.

D Door opens up the feat chain that lets you get not pounce.

Two Handed is the best option, but use a sword that can be one handed in case you want the AC from a shield.

STR 16 (10)
DEX 11 (1)
CON 14 (5)
INT 13 (3)
WIS 7 (-4)
CHA 14 (5)

Go human, racial bump to STR.

I'd recommend magic vestment. Particularly if you have magical knack (paladin). Others would be command or expeditious retreat, enthrall or spiritual weapon (for low/high Wisdom respectively), anddimension door or divine power.

I'm not sure there's much to compare to the overall effect of strolling around with Mirror Image up all the time. It won't work against everything, but generally, it's a nightmare for martially inclined evil trying to stop you. Easily worth a couple Pearls to keep in stock.

Dazzling Blade is great on action economy, thematic, and a decently powerful debuff (blinding). Also gives bonuses a DEX-based paladin might enjoy, and lasts for some time if not discharged.

It would usually be kind of tough for a Paladin to really get much use from a level 1 spell with a save though.

On the other hand, that makes me think of a Paladin using metamagic traits to make Persistent Dazzling Blade a level 1 spell, then taking Spell Focus feats and wearing a whole string of 1000gp Pearls of Power. Because of the way the spell works they could easily throw it twice in one round if necessary, forcing four saves to avoid blind.
