Ditto, altho I'm in Woodbridge. Weekends are preferable. In a few months I can host and/or GM, tho would like to try being a PC again.

Same here! I am in the District itself (don't mind traveling though). I'm tied up until the end of July with the VA bar exam, but then it's on for some RPGing!

I am in Fairfax, looking for a twice-a-month Saturday game. I would have to negotiate it with Mrs. Pennywit, but I could probably take on some hosting duties. I currently GM, so I'm primarily interested in being a player.

We are looking for a GM,good luck.

So we've got five potential players, no potential GM. Oy.

Sorry, it has been a bad week. If you still interested we are still looking. Weekends are good, but, we need a GM.

We haven't touched this in a while. I'm still interested in twice a month on Saturdays. I would be willing to take on some GMing duties if somebody would be willing to trade off with me. Perhaps we could run two campaigns -- I'll run one, somebody else will run the other?

In a fateful twist... I DM, but am new to the game and would like to play as well. I started learning it for my fiance who wanted to play. We live in the northern neck region, so if we have a meet up somewhere I'd be cool with it. I have players now who show up every other month, and she is getting depressed about it. Also, most campaigns I can run currently are Rappan Athuk and related.

I'll recheck this board around Saturday. Let me know if anyone is interested.

I can't speak to others here, but Northern Neck is way out of the neighborhood for me. I'm up in the DC area.

As I said, I wouldn't mind traveling around Fredericksburg. If anyone can host us there...

I would love to join in on a twice a month session. The DC PFS meetups are hard to make with my work schedule and family since they're usually way on the other side of Fairfax County. I'm very open to being a DM I just don't have much Pathfinder experience. I own the entire Giantslayer AP and would love to DM that once I'm a bit more seasoned. I'm also hoping the Realm Works Content Market will launch soon and have Giantslayer as an add on by the end of the year :). If some of you other folks with DM experience are interested in taking turns running some modules and/or PFS scenarios for a bit I think we may be able to get something going. I'd prefer to run PFS rules in order to earn chronicle sheets but that's not a deal breaker for me if anyone is dead set against PFS rules. I could also host games pending approval of the Mrs. I'm a bit father south in Prince William County on 234 near Montclair/Dale City.

well... I don't know all the rules well enough for PFS yet. I've been learning things as they come up. Weights and encumbrance is still screwy with me. I don't mind going that far twice a month... Would prefer a little closer, but I'm not that choosy. I have older adventures. Rappan Athuk, Way of the Wicked, Slumbering Tsar, and mostly single adventures outside that... I also don't mind lending them out if someone else wants to DM them.

Well that makes two of us. Need a few more and we can get something going. I'll try and PM some of folks from earlier in the thread and see if they're still looking.

You may be in luck. I run a Pathfinder game in Chantilly, VA every two weeks.

We play at my house every other Sunday from Noon to roughly 6:00 p.m. We're currently starting Book 4 of the Iron Gods adventure path and could use two more players, as life events have whittled us down from six players to three and a half (someone's always got to be somewhere else).

You need not know anything about how to play (or you can know it all!) I've taught many dozens of people to play over the years. I've been running some flavor of D&D or Pathfinder since 1977. So yeah, we may be a bit older than you, if that's a concern. I'm the oldest in my early 50's and the other players are 30's and early 40's. I'm an attorney and real estate investor with a non-gamer wife and two little boys who may or may not be gamers one day.

Drop me a line and we'll talk.

Still looking! We need two more players in Northern Virginia!

my wife and I just moved to Spotsylvania county... Hit me up at ManjiKuu at hotmail.com

I host and GM a monthly Pathfinder game (1 Saturday per month) at my residence in Stafford, which is just north of Fredericksburg. I've just dropped from 4 players down to 2, and I could pick up 2 or 3 more players. The group may start Strange Aeons in early to mid March. If you're interested, I'll email you. Regards, KGM

There is an active PFS Community that meets in the Comics and Gaming in Fairfax, if that helps anyone.

They have a meetup group where they organize, you should have no trouble finding it.

I also know that there was a couple of openings in an RotR campaign in Capitol Heights that is posted in the "Sci-Fi/Fantasy Roleplaying Games Meetup" meetup group.

Sovereign Court

I'm available for a game with a little drive. I'm in N Chesterfield (just SW of Richmond), so I'd prefer to go not much further north than Fredricksburg.

Centreville here, interested in finding a group.

I'm in Fredericksburg and am looking for a good tabletop gaming group. Anybody happen to have an open seat at their gaming table?

I'm putting together a group in Fredericksburg to run through the playtest if anyone on this thread is interested.
