Wondering who would be interested in a Shadowrun 5 game?
Set in Seattle, 2076, to start.
Standard characters, fairly player driven, with an early focustomers on Redmond & the local gangs.
I would be, I am running one as I am learning the system it would help to play in one too.

Fair warning: I am still mastering the 5ed rules, but a PbP should allow for plenty of time to read/review things and ensure I get them correct.
Any ideas on what you would like to play, in broad strokes?
I am thinking of starting relatively small, dealing with some street & go-gangs in the Redmond area, building up a contact list and street cred / karma before moving out into the wider world of running.
About 3/4 black trenchcoat / 1/8 pink mohawk / 1/8 SyFy tv series.
That would be fine. I agree with this being a great way to learn the rules. I am good with anything, recently I played the Shadowrun reboot video game and I loved both the main stories for that.

If you aren't familiar with this edition, would you consider 3rd or 4th edition? I know that lots of people prefer the older editions.
I like the idea of a street-level game and I've got lots of ideas, but 5th ed rubs me wrong in a lot of ways.
I am running a 5th ED game on these boards at the moment, there are plenty that like 5th ED, so don't feel pressured by the edition detractors.
I do not intend to use another edition.
I have used it and seen it in use plenty, and believe it to be an effective and fun system.
I believe I will create a recruitment post in a bit.
