I want to run Hell's Vengeance when it comes out so I thought maybe it would be fun to run a prequel to it where the players start out as lvl 1 NPC classes on their start to becoming adventures. Basically creating a backstory for the characters when the AP comes out. This will also basically be a weeding out of recruits so that when the AP does drop I can have a good game with people who are interested and want to play.
I will probably do a 15 point buy to offset the extra level you will start with when the AP does drop. I got some other ideas, but I want to test the waters first before I put too much time into this.

Kind of confused here. So I would need to build a 15 point npc that would later become a 20 point build? Any other restrictions?
No you would be a standard 15 point build playing a NPC class to represent the life you had before becoming an adventurer. So like and Aristocrat. You will remain 15 point buy when the AP drops, but you will have that extra level of an NPC class to make up for it in different ways.

Ooooo Sounds interesting. How long would you like out backstories/descriptions to be?
Not to long, probably just a simple reason why you left your current life as an aristocrat, expert, what have you to become an adventurer. I just bought Cheliax Companion to familiarize myself with the setting a bit more. I played a Cheliax Inquisitor in PFS for a few years but I am rusty.
It looks like there is probably enough initial interest. I will hash out the details and make a proper recruitment thread here soon so we can get started and hopefully finish this one shot before the AP is out.

Since it is 15 point buy, I'll have to adjust my sorceress a bit. But shouldn't be a problem actually.
She's a follower of both Ardad Lili and Ymeri so she'll be quite unique. Especially since she thinks dragons, especially red dragons, are the best thing to happen to Golarion since sliced bread...and tattoos...and fire magic...and scantily clad clothing...and red velvet cupcakes...you get the idea. She's basically an evil (and scatterbrained) version of Seoni!
But I do have a question on our characters' starting wealth. is it a certain amount based on our NPC class or is it the same for everyone?
Also are we allowed to have drawback traits and can we also take the additional traits feat both at character creation and later on?
