I wasn't planning to make one or anything, but it struck me as really odd that Greed and Pride phantoms were allowed, but Lust was banned. There is nothing overpowered about the Lust phantom, and the flavor fits just as well as the other Sin Phantoms. Anyone else find this odd, or have a guess why it's not included on the list?

Except none of the Lust phantom's abilities require them to actually boink something to activate, this isn't the BoEF, they have Lustful personalities is all.
Which is no "worse" (VERY HEAVY emphasis on the "") than playing a Calistrian Pathfinder. Or having any other character follow a sexual and/or intimate Deity.

I'm not sure what the lust emotional focus is "almost the same as", though. It's rather novel in its design of a protective companion (for 3e/Pathfinder, anyway).
...unless you're implying that they're about to ban the worship of Calistria in PFS. I doubt that's what you meant, though. ^_^

I could *maybe* see it for power reasons; with Alluring Prescence an incorporeal lust phantom is fairly reliably original Crane Wing when it comes to blocking monster's natural attacks.
That said, there's many ways in which it is weaker than that, and flavor-wise I too am disappointed by its illegality.

While I hope that's not the reason this EF was barred, seeing as how you can play devout worshippers of Calistria, Arshea, and Lymnieris, it's really mind numbingly simple to read a situation and go "yeaaaahhh, I might not want to play this specific character right now."

But the mystery cultist of Arshea or Lymneris performing their obediences won't? The succubus eidolons are all right? The scenarios that send the PCs to brothels (and encourage them to partake) are acceptable?
I can't imagine that's their reasoning, simply because of everything else they've let through thus far. This incredibly tame ghost seems like an odd place to draw the line.

Basically if your a Spiritualist and you sleep with someone your effectively always having a threesome at the minimum.
And that's not even getting into using Bonded Senses at just the right moment.
