Human with racial heritage Kobold

Advice

Which traits/feats would you allow a human with racial heritage kobold to take?

I am contemplating building a Ley-line guardian witch 5/ dragon disciple x.
The goal is not to build an optimised pc but to have an interesting guy. And as of yet it is far from certain that I will play it at all. So consider it a thought experiment.

Feats:
- Draconic aspect: Humans don't normally have scales. So is this already a no?
- Draconic breath: Has draconic aspect as prerequisite, apart from that it should be ok.
- Draconic glide: Again the prerequisite. As it states that you grow the wings it should be ok.
- Kobold confidence: With int as casting stat the Cha13 is bad but except for that it should be ok.
- Merciless magic: No problem at all
- Redeemed Kobold: Same Problem as with draconic aspect. Would be nice should I take the hex channeler archetype, too.

Traits:
- Frost spitter: Similar problem to draconic aspect. Is it enough to be a descendant of white-scaled kobolds?

- Regional traits from Kobolds of Golarion: Any Problem at all? They don't even mention needing to be a Kobold.

All of them are fine. Your human has Kobold heritage. They are considered to have any kobold features necessary to take those feats and traits.

Liberty's Edge

PFS, is Racial Heritage legal for core humans to take with the intention of using those racial options from races you don't yet have boons for?

There have been lots of discussion on whether racial heritage(kobold) allows to take the tail terror feat and if I remember right some paizo official (or even a FAQ) chimed in that you need the body parts to be affected in the first place. So no tail terror because you need a tail.

That's why I asked the question and that's why I did not ask for a rules answer but for advice on whether people would allow it.

My take on the scales would be: Hair, feathers and scales are more or less just different forms (evolutions) of the same thing; stuff covering the skin for protection against the environment and/or predators. So a human with racial heritage kobold and redeemed kobold might just have his hair turn silver instead of having silver scales. Same for draconic aspect.

A human with kobold heritage could have some reptilian features, like scales or a tail. None of the feats has balance issues anyway, in my opinion. Frost Spitter is situationally powerful, but ok. If other traits don't mention kobold, they are for other races also.

Conceptually, what horrible activities transpired to make such a creature hurt my mind. Proposing that a human and a kobold...ugh. ALL kinds of ugh.

Also, there's the kobold bloodline sorcerer, so you could also take the eldrich heritage feat with that....With your abomination of a creature that is a sin against Gozreh.

As Kobolds are scions of dragonkind* a human with racial heritage (kobold) could just be akin to an Aasimar with scion of humanity. One of his ancestors was a dragon as one of the Aasimar's ancestors was a celestial.

*as every kobold will tell you if you beg enough so that he chooses to spare your life.

Interesting idea. The trap rune isn't too bad. The fact that it deals damage to everything in its square makes it an AOE effect that can hurt swarms. And with a duration of 24h it clearly has its uses.
