Cleric in Giantslayer AP

We are about to start doing some serious Giantslaying in the above AP.. How should our cleric play it.. concentrate on reach melee with longspear and self buffs and heals or go casting command and hold person and other enchantments

If you're going to melee, be a warpriest so you can get off your buffs fast, and do some real combat damage.

If you're going to be a cleric, use ranged attacks when you aren't using spells, or buff your allies. Using enchantment spells is a great use of your slots when you have to attack directly. If you have to, just aid another actions to fill the gap can be very useful, and providing a flanking partner.

Well I'd say Bless would be a good start if you're just starting out. For some of your group that would be a 20% boost or more to attacks.

Should I play a cleric in giantslayer it will be one of Apsu with the devine barrier feat.

Giantslayer is an extremely deadly AP. Remember that sometimes a cleric has to heal allies despite wands of CLW.
