Help with my feral hunter monster hunter build

Hi all,
I'm unsure about the race and feats for my feral hunter. He is a hunter of undead,ghosts,demons and monsters... I was thinking about investing in a magic 2-h sword, he fights with this blade and in wildshape, I want to use both.. Feats that are good for both are my priority. I was also thinking about the feats Eldridge claws and the ectoplasm metamagic feat. Magic wise I'm not sure about the spells, think I'll be buffing mostly... Any advice is welcome!

Ps, my concept is a character like van helsing who is also a beast himself... Become what you hate to hunt,, something like this :-)

Hi, I'm currently playing a straight hunter in an undead campaign. What I have done is that my character is using a reach weapon (dwarven longhammer) it is blessed silver, which overcomes the DR etc.

Spells I find useful are as follows, as well as some that you might find useful for wildshape

level 1

lead blades for extra damage on my weapon
snowball is also good if you want a ranged option
faerie fire is useful for the invisible creatures you will come across
obscuring mist can be useful for battlefield control

level 2

bloody claw
lockjaw
ironskin to buff my AC
windwall can also come in handy to stop ranged attacks and possibly ghosts? you will need to checkyour dm on this. sometimes they count as gas.

level 3
magic fang, greater
daylight bothers some undead
strong jaw will increase damage on one of your natural attacks

if you don't have a healer, take the cure spells and the restoration spells.

The druid guide (https://docs.google.com/Doc?docid=0AcNyxDTKvAmqZGRtZzhzdjZfNDZnNHpzcmdodA& amp;hl=en) has a evaluation of druid spells which should help you out. Most of the advice should be useful to you since you are using wild shape.

my feats are based around my companion and tripping so I don't thirnk they will be useful, but power attack is never a bad choice.

Edit: I am playing as a dwarf which is how I can use the dwarven longhammer. Dwarves give boosts to wis and str (which are your main abilities other than con), and dumps cha which is not important for a hunter. it also has some good traits that i find useful like darkvision. the alternate trait fey thoughts is also cool for getting some more class skills.
