Non-Cavalier / Samurai access to Orders

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

Greetings,

I've got a grappler build that I am think about working Order of the Penitent into, but taking the two lvl of Cavalier/Samurai would take me off track.

So, I'm trying to figure out if there are any Archetypes from other classes that give access to the Orders.

.....anybody what/if there are any?

Thanks,

None I can think of.

Scarab Sages

I'm not aware of anything that does. However, Two level of constable adds a lot to any grappler build on it's own, and even more so with the order.

I know it's probably not ideal but a VMC Cavalier gives you access to an Order, it's Level 2/8 abilities and it's modifier to the challenge ability.

That's a Constable for the win. ....also will make for an interesting char advancement since I've built him with the Prof: Gambler.

Much thanks for all the thoughts,

Short of homebrewing, wish I could suggest something. Pretend its a class feature and archetype it in to substitute something you don't like in your class. It looks flavorful but isn't unbalancing enough to be considered cheese.

Some classes have something too unique to duplicate. For Wizards, that's Wizard Discoveries. For Sorcerers, that's Bloodline Arcana. For Druids, that's wildshape. For Clerics, it's double domains. Fighters get Armor Training. For Cavaliers, that's Challenge and Order.

For regular Rogue, that's 8+INT skill points a level. Until Ninja. Oh, and that was effectively overtaken by Bard, and more or less duplicated by Wizard. And Witch.

The only truly unique Barbarian thing is the d12 HD, but the combination of rage+rage powers+archetype access is too awesome to ignore.
