Does this work, or no?
If I'm wearing a suit of intelligent fullplate that flies (+10,500) can it still fly while I am wearing it? If no, why not?
If it's a matter of carrying capacity, can I buy up its str to 18 for an extra +4k so it can carry me? (Does it gain a STR Score once it has a means of movement?)
I've been using this for years without anyone batting an eye, and someone just mentioned they don't think this works by RAW, so I'm looking for feedback on it.
I like my flying armor. Anybody see anything I'm missing to confirm or deny its functionality?

I don't believe it can carry you.
Item can fly, as per the spell, at a speed of 30 feet
So it is the object, rather than the owner, which gains flight.
The subject of a fly spell can charge but not run, and it cannot carry aloft more weight than its maximum load, plus any armor it wears."
So the item can't carry more than its maximum load. Since armor doesn't have STR score its maximum load is 0 lb. So I think you are out of luck.

I believe Gisher hit the nail on the head. Even the random intelligent magic item table states the teleport is for the itself only.
You could probably manage to do it with the Craft Construct feat that lets you use the Construct as armor. This would give it a STR score and semi sentience for commands and the like. There is another that gives it mental state, but it loses some of the construct qualities.

Yeah, it doesn't pass the comparison test for similar items either. Even a Wings of Flying, Lesser costs 22,000 gp for 30 ft. fly speed at poor maneuverability. Winged Shield and Celetial Armor both cost more than your intelligent item and only give you Fly once per day too. If it looks too good to be true, it usually is.
