Fixer cures most stuff on any case.
By the way, I'm loving talking this with you. It's making me nostalgic.
It's a lot of fun. :-) did this in FaWtL last time and gave Sharoth Fallout 3 nostalgia. :-)
By the in Fallout 3 on the alien Mothership, when you get to the bridge, open the door and fire a Mininuke at the captain, clears the bridge every time. :-)

Got done destroying the Vaults, I like how that one fiend leader just sat on his throne as I opened the door and chucked a stick of dynamite in his lap, then Veronica punched him into pieces. Used the experience and Repair boosting vault suit there to fix the elevator at the second one and got the thingy there, used the loot gained to get a bad ass suit of Mark 2 armor, I'm not going to overthrow the Brotherhood leader, seems like a nice guy, I know I lose out on choice armor but he seems to see things aren't as bleak on the surface as he thought. Honestly, as Deathquaker said he seems more ready to f*!$ shit up then douche bag power hungry dude made it out to be.

I'm fairly independent and don't care for establishment, so I'm cool with it, I'm grateful for the free shack loaded with ammo and weapons. Also I have Veronica a suit of power armor so she won't get knocked unconscious as much.
The assault on that mutant b%+@~ at Black Mountain begins tonight!
(But not until I'm done with f&~$ing work tonight!)

I have Veronica decked it in some spikey metal armor, sunglasses and a Ballistic Fist.
She looks bad ass!
It's fun to dress up Veronica (and the other companions as well). My favorite is Arcade's family armor, sunglasses, and a superheated Saturnite fist.
Good luck at Black Mountain! Poor Tabitha.

I suspect the powder gang grossly misinterpreted how many explosives I was carrying, they really should've sent more then 6, I didn't even recruit anyone other then Sunny, who I did want to include in the first place "Um, Ringo, is that your name. See this chick decked out in power armor, I've seen her decapitate a Deathclaw with her fist ("Talk to the fist, cause the hand is pissed" - Northern State), oh and this robot hovering behind me, that thing hanging down, while as suggestive as it may seem is quite destructive".
I have a feeling if I could've used my own argument I would've won out.

That guy you won't help.
Or you get Arcade as a companion (which means losing Veronica), do ALL of his quests (which are a pain to get started), and near the end of the game you will get the Enclave remnants to train you.
Pretty much the only option if you don't help Hardin.
if you do Veronica's quest along with his quest chain he will teach you how to use power armor, so you don't have to over throw him

Yes! And the stupid poison mist. And the indestructible opponents. And the fact that all the NPCs will...
Go psycho and attack you if you didn't choose the right dialogue options when you first met them.

Given the (3 person) consensus around Dead Money, I'm curious as to everyone's ranking of the various DLCs. I'd probably put it in this order:
1. Honest Hearts: I'm somewhat surprised by this one myself, but looking back on the various DLCs, I have the most fond memories of Honest Hearts. I liked the various tribes/tribal politics, and the pristine natural environment was such a stark contrast to the rest of the games that it left a lasting impression.
2. Old World Blues: I can't fault anyone who puts this as #1. The sweet base and it's assortment of talking appliances is worth the price of admission. And the talking stealth suit was a big hit with the kids ("you should wear the armor that talks!").
3. Lonesome Road: It was an epic slog down a railroad, but it kept me entertained and had a lot of love for my favorite portable beer cooler/companion ED-E. Seriously, am I the only one that takes perverse pleasure in loading ED-E up with cold beverages and snacks? He's a damn fine combatant and significant upgrade to the scooter coolers you see these days.
4. Dead Money: Ugh.

1. Lonesome Road: Great story. Loved that you can come and go. RED GLARE!!!!1!!ONE!! Liked that so much carried over to the core, like Ed-Es upgrades, and your solo perk...which boosts crits...which I think I mentioned....also, Ulysses was a nice foil.
2. Honest Hearts. I liked Joshua Graham, although this seemed even more railroad than Lonesome. This had a decent story.
3. Old world blues. I actually liked the weapons, the items, the story, the characters, but... Roxy was literally worthless. I'm using literally correctly here. She dies in one hit and doesn't respawn even if you're not in Hardcore mode. She is worthless. Also, the radio got really repetitive...and I hate the feel of the place. Plus, it was LONG and I got tired of it and kept wanting to leave...but couldn't.
4. Dead money. F*** you whoever made this. And an extra big f*** you to whoever decided to teach me a lesson about greed with all that gold at the end. My friend swears there's a way to leave with all of it, but no matter how many times I tried, I couldn't.
Killing Elijah is just the most satisfying shot in the game, though. It makes Caesar feel like punching a pillow in comparison. It's like pure digital morphine. I hate that dick.

Fallout New Vegas DLC ramble
I will rank them in order of my most favorite to least favorite.
1 - Honest Hearts. I LIKED the people that I was fighting for. JG was a man who had fallen (hard and far) and was trying to get back up. I cared about the Sorrows and Dead Horses. Daniel, Follows Chalk, and Walking Cloud were PEOPLE in my mind. I had to decide would I sacrifice a land for a peoples "innocence" or sacrifice a people to preserve a beautiful land. (I preserved the land.)
2 - Dead Money. The was something oh so satisfying about leaving Elijah behind in the vault while I escaped with the gold. Plus I liked Christine, Dog / God, and even Dean a bit. I felt sorry for all of them, and in the end helped them heal, even if only a little bit. Plus I got this really SWEET Holorifle!!! And these unlimited casino chips! Take that Elijah!!! You will never hurt Christine or Veronica again!
3 - Old World Blues. I really enjoyed it, but OWB did not have the emotional impact that HH and DM did for me. Plus, after the third time through, it felt like a slog. Having said that, it was campy, cheesy fun.
4 - Lonesome Road. Uggg. Such a BORING DLC. And I felt like telling Ulysses to go stuff himself. I am sorry if I delivered an item that I had no idea would do that. If I HAD known, I would have never taken it there, but I didn't know. At least I did not intentionally destroy a whole city or do all the horrible things that you did, you Fracking Hypocrite!!!!!
