I was looking at a possible Brawler with a VMC Sorcerer (Ghoul bloodline) to play with, and wanted to compare that with the Bloodrager. What would be the advantages of one over the other?
Brawler had better saves. Bloodrager has more magic. (Plus Rage!)
I want to build an unarmed brute, and Bloodrager is closest, but then I came across some VMC pages and thought: Brawler + VMC Sorcerer?
I'm interested in the Bloodrager Blood Conduit archetype especially. Basically, a guy who can get really scary and beat the living s!&% out of you with his bare fists, and little or no armor.
I am NOT good at some of the truly incredible analysis some of you do here on the forums, so I thought I'd ask!

Hmmm. I have to weigh the loss of uncanny dodge and the loss of DR. But that's definitely a possibility!
I suggest this a lot, but if you go Aberrant Bloodline, you can pick up the Aberrant Familiar feat at level 5 and give it the protector archetype to have a fast healing hit point battery.

It looks like you lose fast movement too.... :P
Is Sorcerer VMC worth it over a vanilla Brawler for that matter?
Bump. Still interested in the pros/cons of one over the other.
I guess it depends on how useful Maneuver Training 1 (Brawler 3 class feature) is vs getting the VMC Sorcerer 1st lvl bloodline power, which, in this case, gives the Ghoulish Claws.
