Situation:
One player has a low-level Antipaladin. GM isn't entirely happy with it, but puts up with it for a bit. GM has enough, decides that Antipaladin isn't good for the party, and needs to die. Antipaladin player would rather not die, but if they need to, wants to cause a lot of suffering and destruction as they go out.
Question is: How to kill the player character in an epic, awesome way, or convince the GM the antipaladin isn't worth killing?
Disclaimer: I'm neither the GM nor the player.

I'm sorry, there's too little information to go on here. Why does the Anti-pal have to die? Is the GM just sick of inter-party strife? How do the other players feel about Anti-pal?
Honestly, I have to agree with Ms. Pleiades. You are far better off talking to the player away from the table and explaining what behavior needs to stop for whatever reasons.
In the end, if it comes down to it, the party should just leave Anti-pal while he's sleeping and have that player roll a new character. Then, I'd use Anti-pal as one of the BBEG's or the BBEG's top lieutenants.

Anti-Paladin did what Anti-Paladins do is what happened?
If that Player resents this course of action, then a second, more deliberate phase of the Counter-Campaign begins. It's hilarious from a bystander perspective, but real butt-hurt can result.
The adventuring group just became a survival horror/CLUE.
The Anti-Paladin requesting an Epic way out is probably an inferred Party Kill from that Player's viewpoint, be advised. Hope it is resolved amicably; when an Evil character does become disruptive, let the Party decide, not the DM. This can be roleplay, but the chances of resentment and revenge as a result is pretty damn high.
TL;DR Don't do this, look up preceding advice and solve-this off the board as people, not PCs VS DM.

Resolve the out of character. Otherwise only hurt feelings will ensue.
In the character is being disruptive to the rest of the party (or even just to the GM) the offended parties need to stand up and voice the problem to the player (which it sounds like has already been done since the player wants to "go out with a bang".)
Instead of killing off the antipaladin character, it is probably a much better path (if it's okay with the player) for either the antipaladin to leave the party in the middle of the night or for the party to desert the antipaladin. And then, with player permission to use the antipaladin as an antagonist for the party in the future.
