Hi guys, I come to you for knowledge and wisdom.
-The set up:
In an upcoming table the GM has asked me to make some kind of "grappler". Yeah yeah "tetori monk, end of thread" but wait there is more. The tricky thing is that the GM has limited the books for that table.
The campaign will start at level 2 and will end at level 10 or so.
Material available:
-Core Rulebook
-Advanced PLayer's guide
-Advanced Class Guide
-Ultimate Equipment
-Ultimate Campaign
-Some comanion books like the Animal Archive for example.
and thats it. No Ultimate Combat/Magic.
Other limitations:
-Low magic world, and low cash income... so don't count with overthetop magic items, only the simple ones.
-No full casters.
So with this in mind I am open to your opinions.
One of my ideas was to be a Hunter / Sacred Huntsmaster Inquisitor with a snake(constrictor) companion. The pretty thing of the snake is that it can go anywhere without raising any eyebrows, and with the feat "evolved familiar" for a +8 to stealth and the feat "stealth synergy" even more so.
anyway, thats was my thinking. I'm listening for your ideas.

Hrm.... Maybe a Brutal Pugilist Barbarian going through the grappler's route with Throat Slicer as a fifth level pickup?
Fighter 2 (Lore Warden) / Barbarian ? (Brutal Pugilist)
Enough HP to get smacked in the face, and the fact that slicing the throat makes things quite easy, should be a deterrent.
Too bad this character's build isn't really allowed in your GM's game. (I kind of like having a +50 to grapple on the first attempt.....)
