Pathfinder Horror Movie Interest Check

Recruitment

I am considering running a horror themed pathfinder game, most likely it will just be a single adventure that I will write. I will also restrict players to NPC classes. I want you to fear for your character. I want you to know you're likely not going to survive. And so I want you weaker than the standard classes.

Any interest?

Grand Lodge

Yeah I'll take a chance through the meat grinder. Sounds interesting. Funnelworld, here we come.

Hmm, well only one so far. looks like it's withering on the vine.

Sounds cool.

These and Zombie games spring up every Halloween. I have been in a few and they all died out, but I am always looking to add more games.

You know, I never made the connection? My games I'm playing are just dying and I wanted to experiment.

Most people aren't interested in playing NPC classes is probably the biggest deal.

If you want to go that route, why not try to start up a Call of Cthulhu game?

Liberty's Edge

I'm interested! I'll play a NPC class, too.

What are the character creation rules?

there are no rules yet, this is an interest check onlu Cuchulainn.

Rynjin, the reason is I'd have to purchase, learn, play and Gm several practice sessions at the least. That's why not start up a Call of Cthulu game.

It really is intriguing, nothing like a good zombie apocalypse or night in a vampires castle to get the blood boiling. I dong't mind being an npc class. I would like to know if this is set in Golarian, or a similar plane of existence: ie. what gods, what level of technology, what "myths or monsters". Is it a fantasy setting or modern, what tools, weapons, magic or knowledge would be available?

Understandable, though I'd totally jump on a CoC game.

Honestly, so would I provided I have a patient GM. I'd love to get down to some good old lovecraftian horror. The problem is expense and the multiple play sessions to learn and get the kinks out. Robert, it would be generic fantasy world with no guns for reference to the kind of world. Past that, I don't know. Seeing as how I'd be writing it, and I have no idea what I'd put in it yet, I can't say, if I were doing a town defense like land of the dead, you'd have more access to specialized tools, If you were a band of wannabe adventurers who wandered into Alucard's castle it would be very different.

Count me interested.

Well sorry guys. I'm just not seeing enough interest to provide me to bolster my will towards writing an adventure.
