Hi
Just checked out the pregens for the Occultist Adventures, specifically the Kineticist.
Yoon starts out as a Human Child. Nice background, but I didn't know you could start out as a child character. Can you take child characters? Or is this just fluff?
Yoon is small and gains all the benefits as such, so probably not.
Like the character (but prefer different feats).
Any clarifications would be most helpful.
Thanks

You can play a character based on the iconic, but if it uses rules or items that are exceptions to the normal rules, you can't use them. For instance, if you're playing a Core campaign, you can use Iconic Sajan with the temple sword, but if you make a character based on him, you can't use a temple sword unless you find one on a chronicle.
You could make a character based on Yoon, but medium sized, and say it's Yoon a couple years older than the Pregen, grown just enough to be medium-sized.

Actually, aside from the additional resources issue, you can just copy most of the iconics to a character sheet, change the name and have a legal PFS character.
There are a couple of exceptions, Yoon is a young Human, which isn't PFS legal so you would have to remove the young bit.
Some pregens just have errors, obviously those are not legal.

Yoon doesn't use the young template. She is just Small.
You CAN build clones of the pregens. The only caveat is that you must correct any abnormalities.
Amiri's 2 combat traits...
Yoon being a Small Human...
I find that converting pregens can be a great way to quick build PCs. (Nice starting point when helping new players build their dash-ones.)
Even better... You can correct aspects of the Pregen when you are making the PC yours.
