So I'm getting read to run Giantslayer and I want to have some things sorted out RAW in my mind. The question is if a character wanted to buff another character larger than "Large", what options do they have?
So first off, the spell would have to not have a target of personal. Is there a meta magic feat that will allow a personal spell to be used on another person. Wands seem to be one answer as long as the user is putting the spell on themselves and that persons has UMD.
I could go with magic items that allow for this, but I don't want to force players into this.
Suggestions?

All i have for this one is Cheese. Have your high level caster Marionette (or other possession) your fighter who is wearing a ring of continuation then cast Shapechange then leave the fighter.
Fighter should now be able to use shapechange for the next 24 hours and assume giant form.
Actually ....don't do any of this.
Basically the only spells that i know of that get you larger than Large are Giant Form 2, and Form of the Dragon 3, both are 8th level spells and Personal. So you probably won't be getting huge before 15th unless you are a Synthiest then 13 possibly.

I know you said you are avoiding 3rd Party, but . . .
Are you allowing third party material? The psionic powers expansion and metamorphosis can potentially increase a character's size to Huge, and a sufficiently high level egoist can share their effects with other characters.
A Vitalist can manifest Expansion on a member of his collective. (The Vitalist would have to take the Expanded Knowledge feat to get Expansion, though)
