Hey everyone i just started a game as a whip based weapon master which i plan on multi classing into urban barbarian.
My question is with the difference between the weapon training for the weapon master and the regular fighter.
The weapon training for regular fighters is every 4 levels passed 5th he gets another weapon training (2,3,4 etc)
but the weapon training for the weapon master is this
At 3rd level, a weapon master gains a +1 bonus on attack and damage rolls with his chosen weapon. The bonus improves by +1 for every four levels beyond 3rd.
This ability replaces Armor Training 1, 2, 3 and 4.
It doesn't say every 4 fighter levels or the like.
my plan is to do 3 levels weapon master and then 2 levels barbarian then 4 levels fighter.
If i do this then when do i get my next weapon training bonus. Level 7 or level 9?
Unless it specifies character level, class abilities always refer to class level. Fighter WT isn't increasing with barbarian levels, so it happens at fighter 7, aka character level 9..
