I keep wanting to do a good aligned necromancer who doesn't create undead, but does use the other necromancy spells. It might end up just being a necromancy themed cleric or oracle, rather than wizard.
I just love the idea of playing totally against type that way. I'm picturing a someone really friendly in bright clothing, cheerily casting necromancy spells, and if anyone calls him on it, he comments that it's just another type of energy, not necessarily evil.
Fromper, it's not at all against the type.
In fact, Clerics of Pharasma are exactly that type. Pharasma grants the death domain, but it is a special version which has the spells that allow you to actually raise undead removed and substituted.
You could just as much have a wizard who follows Pharasma and though not divinely bound, chooses not to raise the dead and instead makes it their mission to destroy them.
Necromancy is great for buffs/debuffs.
Ray of Enfeeblement, False Life, Blindness/Deafness, Ray of Exhaustion, Vampiric Touch, Enervation, Bestow Curse, Vampiric Shadow Shield, Finger of Death, Waves of Exhaustion, Orb of the Void, Mass Suffocation, Energy Drain, and Wail of the Banshee are all decent non undead necromancy spells.
Reach Spell would be a good feat considering all the touch spells you have, which lets you turn them into ray attacks. Since you will be using a lot of rays, I recommend Weapon Focus Ray.
You may want to take the Life Subschool of Necromancy as such a wizard.
