So, I've been looking at the Kineticist class, and I'm intrigued, and decided to get some advice.
What are the pros and cons of each element? What role does each one play well? I mean, a pyrokineticist is obviously going to be a blaster, but what are the other elements good at? Control? Buffing? Debuffing? In other words, how is each element usually used, and why?

Aether is might fine for a telekinetic thief - hauling big and small things all the day, picking pocket and disarming traps from a distance to reduce danger, sneaking, flying or sneak flying around.
Air is mindbogglingly good melee/ranged party buffer from 6th level on... At will haste at the cost of the kineticist using her standard action every round? Yes, please, it's a great trade. Now I want air kineticist as a cohort...
Earth is disappointing. I hoped for so much environment control. Well, in general I hoped for more environment control. Also, no acid? It needs to be corrected in the future.
Fire is blaster, pure and simple.
Water seems to have the most crowd and environment control talents but still not enough for my taste.

From what I remember, the General Discussion forum specifically says this kind of stuff shouldn't be on there. And where do I find the advice forum? I looked quite hard before settling for this one.
Pathfinder General Discussion, not Paizo General Discussion. Also, Advice
