Dungeon Crawler Pre-painted Plastic Miniatures : Behemoth

Hi Folks,

We will be launching our Storm Riders Kickstarter (Dungeon Crawler) September 7th!

Six of the sculpts and renders have been shown off already.  We're finalizing the finishing steps on our first DCM Kickstarter, but we stuck with it and will persevere!  We believe we've ironed out the kinks in our production process, and as this will be our second project with the same factory, we should be able to excel on delivery.

The behemoth stands on a monstrous 8" diameter base to rival our Kraken.

Our Storm Riders have a great feature where the mounts and riders are interchangeable whose usefulness only grows as new mounts and riders are added to the series!

I'll be supporting again.

The first kickstarter had some delays, but you guys were stellar in how you approached and dealt with those. Communication throughout the problems has been exceptional.

Me too. I backed the Kraken and have been very happy with both product and communication through the project. Also backed the first campaign that didn't reach its minimum funding goal, and I'd love to see those sculpts get a second chance.

Very cool. :D

Launching in 15hrs -ish, count down is here:

I'm in for a Painted Squadron.

The mounts and exchangeable riders are really cool.

Linkified. And pledged.

And we're over half way now. :)

Have you considered asking Paizo to put up a blog post about this?

No. I think that would be incredibly imposing of me to ask that to be honest. They do carry our product in their store, but I believe I'd be crossing a line.

Awesome Walking Hut.

Couple of weeks left on this one.

I've backed two of their projects before - one didn't make it's goal, but they were totally professional about communication and even gave those of us who tried a bonus on their next Kickstarter. Second Kickstarter went much better, lots of very cool, well-done painted and/or unpainted minis, including a massive kraken mini and more tentacles than you can shake a ... tentacle ... at. I got my pledge pretty close to on time (minor delays are just a Kickstarter thing) and was super satisfied. I know they had some longer delays on certain pieces because of quality issues with the factory in China, but again, stellar communication, frequent updates, and they saw it through to get everyone their products.

These are the same folks who do some of the only pre-painted townfolk minis this far - there's a barkeep, a street urchin, a seductress, and an old lady. They also do plain bases (no slots) in size small to colossal - great for people like me who re-base a lot of minis. Sorry, this wasn't supposed to be a commercial, just saying that these guys are totally legit and you're not going to get ripped off. I know a lot of folks get nervous about Kickstarter but if you're looking for more variety in your pre-painted minis, check this one out.

I'm backing the kickstarter - hoping to get some of their other miniatures shipped in the same package. From what I understand they can combine the shipment later on.

It took a long time to ship the Kraken, but they pushed through and got it out in the end despite all the setbacks, which they communicated clearly about. This gives me a lot of confidence in this one.

This is an 8" x 8" based monster for less than 60 dollars US. And if they get enough you could buy a pre-painted one for less than $70 US. People will be sorry if they miss this one.

If you want a fantastic not-a-Tarasque miniature come join.

A pledge of $68 USA dollars ($90 Canadian dollars) can get you a humongous monster.

Thanks for joining guys! :)

We are 1 Squadron backer away from success... who wants to be the hero? ;)

It is now over the number. :-)

Next goal, let's get to the painted level. Daddy needs his twin Behemoths, one in each paint scheme. :-)

We have funded the unpainted Behemoth, and are working on the painted version now. Also we have a new reveal. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/dungeoncrawler/dungeon-crawlertm-pre-p ainted-miniatures-storm-rid/posts/1360009

Added a full rotation of the Behemoth to the main page and update.

I really want one of these Pre-Painted. I would hope others would see the value and jump on the band wagon.

This was cancelled a few days early due to lack of funding, I will be taking another approach starting with the Riders, just working out something to get this in USD funding.

Good luck with the next attempt. US dollars probably makes sense. Fingers crossed the behemoth sees the light of day eventually.
