I'm not sure if this is the correct board for this, so I apologize in advance if it isn't.

Anyway, I'm having a problem deleteing a Pathfinder Society alias/character from my account (85258-9). I made a mistake in that I clicked to register a standard character rather than the CORE character that he is. I attempted to delete it, but I deleted the previous character (85258-8) by accident. Now, not only am I left with a mistake I can't delete, but I can't go back and recreate the other character since then it would be (85258-10), which I don't have yet. This is especially concerning since I don't actually register characters until they've played 3 games and reached level 2. If this mistake could be deleted, I might be able to retry registering (85258-8) and (85258-9) correctly.

Is there someway of doing this I've missed?

K-kun, if I understand the issue correctly, you created 85258-9 as Core when you wish the character to be standard, correct? If so, it's easy to fix, if you play the character in a standard game they will be automatically converted from Core to standard (doesn't work the other way, just from Core to standard). So you can keep the same character and have it be standard.

Just the opposite actually. (85258-9) aka Vek Orcbreaker is supposed to be CORE but I accidentally registered as Standard.

(85258-8) aka Galeiric Atwater is supposed to be STANDARD, but because of the problems with Vek, I accidentally deleted Mr. Atwater, and can't recreate him because I can only make an (85258-10) which I don't have a character for.

If the currently registered (85258-9) could be deleted, I'm pretty sure (85258-8) would become available for registration, albeit much more carefully this time.

Registration always goes up, we can't reuse old numbers because the characters are "virtually deleted", which means we flag them unavailable, but we have to keep the data because they are still linked with old sessions. If we were to delete and reuse the number then our records of games they played before they were deleted would be corrupted.

So deleting a character does not cause it or any previous numbers to become available again.

Any suggestions then?

Sorry for intruding. Are you perhaps asking if 85258-8 could be "undeleted" (ie restored)?

While getting Galeiric Atwater back up would be nice, this all started by accidentally registering Vek Orcbreaker as standard rather than core. Me trying to rectify this mistake by deleting Vek (I actually haven't put a name on Paizo yet, but I've played 3 games as Vek) but accidentally deleted Mr. Atwater instead. I then found I couldn't delete Vek at all. My guess is that one of his 3 games was reported, so as soon as I registered a character with that number, he was instantly undeletable. On the flip-side, none of Mr. Atwater's 3 games have been reported, so his delete button was there to be mistakenly clicked.

I suppose I could just ignore any problems and keep playing Mr. Atwater (85258-8) standard and Vek (85258-9) core despite Mr. Atwater legally not existing anymore and Vek legally not core.

Hey K-kun,

I can at least do this for you, I've converted Vek to Core (as they have never played anything but Core) so you can play the character in Core games legitimately now.
