So here is the description for Cloak of the Hedge Wizard:
This cloak comes in eight varieties—one for each school of magic. The cloak grants its wearer the ability to use a certain number of spells on command (caster level 1st) based on its school of magic. It also grants the wearer the ability to use prestidigitation on command and at will.
Abjuration: at will—resistance; 1/day—endure elements, shield
Conjuration: at will—acid splash; 1/day—mage armor, unseen servant
Divination: at will—detect magic; 1/day—detect secret doors, true strike
Enchantment: at will—daze; 1/day—charm person, sleep
Evocation: at will—light; 1/day—floating disk, magic missile
Illusion: at will—ghost sound; 1/day—color spray, silent image
Necromancy: at will—touch of fatigue; 1/day—cause fear, ray of enfeeblement
Transmutation: at will—mage hand; 1/day—enlarge person, expeditious retreat

I just got a Conjuration version of the cloak and just want to clear one little thing up. Does the cloak get you 1 use per day of both the spells listed, or do you just get to use one of them once per day?

Thanks for any help everyone, really appreciate it. Hope you have a wonderful day, and happy gaming.

Once each. That's the standard notation for it. If it meant only one use of either it would be phrased something like "1/day - mage armor or unseen servant"

Awesome, thanks dude. Could I get one more confirmation guys? Not that I think Jeff is wrong, I just like to make double sure. Again, thanks Jeff.

Jeff is correct. Enjoy your one use each!

Thank you so much for this second confirmation. Thank you Jeff and thank you Kalindlara. I am so glad that it does in fact let me use both spells once per day. Thank you both again, have a wonderful day, and happy gaming.

And, of course, as much Acid Splash and Prestidigitation as you want.

This is one of my favorite little used items. I especially like the Abjuration version. Shield 1/day on a martial class is great. Having to forgo a Cloak of Resistance is not great. But if you aren't afraid to do something nonstandard, it's a great item.

And yes, the others are correct. Both spells 1/day, plus at will Prestidigitation and Acid Splash.

I agree. Transmutation can be nice for martials, too. Enlarge Person and Expeditious Retreat are a great combination for reach builds. And these cloaks are relatively cheap, so you could eventually get a couple of them. One of the reasons that I am excited about the Occultist is the ability to wear fun cloaks like these and still get the standard saving throw bonuses with your Resonant Powers.

Yes this is a great item. I plan to get one of the Divination cloaks for my Holy Cleric of Razmir (a.k.a. Alchemist) so he can detect magic and use prestidigitation whenever her wants as his so called holy archana. It is a wonderful way of fooling people into thinking he is a real cleric.

With a pair of Apprentice's Cheating Gloves you can use Mage Hand as well. The two items together give you 3 different cantrips and two spells.

Those are very awesome. If only it was not getting Prestidigitation twice, but yeah Mage Hand is a great cantrip.

I've acquired a abjuration version of this cloak, at some point i'd like to change this into one for my specialist school. is anyone aware of any guidance as to the cost of this transformation?

there are other situations where this type of thing might apply i.e. a belt of Physical Might being passed from the front line fighter to a wizard would benefit from being remade in a similar manner

There are no rules for "changing" the function of a magic item. You're in GM fiat territory.

Grand Lodge

Typically, it is sell at half, make or buy a new item at normal cost/price.
