So I was recently looking at playing a Summoner, but our party is fairly spellcaster heavy, so I'm looking at a few different options.
1. Just play a summoner. If I focus on eidolon use, it's like I'm a buffbot with a pet fighter. I'm barely a spellcaster to begin with.
2. Ditch my spells and charisma and dive into the fray alongside my eidolon.
3. Play a fighter.
For option 1 I was hoping to play a small race and just ride my eidolon around. For options 2 and 3, though, I was thinking I could be something with a lot of natural weapons. I could spend evolution points to grant me extra attacks when I reach that level, I know, but are there any officially published races that naturally have natural weapons? Are there feats I could take to give me claws or a tail slap or something?

for natural attacks, I'd look to skinwalkers. all of them can get at least one, and about half get three. You'll need a feat if you want two bestial features at once. this one is from a companion, so you need to check the srd.
you could also use aspect to give yourself natural weapons (at the expense of your eidolon)

Classes:
Barbarians get Beast Totem for natural attacks an pounce.
Alchemists are great natural attackers with access to both monstrous physique/Giant form and Discoveries that grant attacks like Tentacle.
Rangers are a solid choice with the Natural attack combat style.
Wild Shape Druids
Races:
Half-Orcs have three ways to get a bite attack
Goblins have a bite with an alternate racial trait
Catfolk get claws
Tieflings can get a Bite or Claws
Aasimar can get Wings
Tengu can get Claw/Claw/Bite

Another interesting option would be the new Evangelist Prestige Class
This class has two interesting facets that make it rather effective for this role:
1. It Actually lets you continue the abilities from your original class through the 'aligned class' ability. After a single skipped level (the ability to do the stacking comes with the 2nd level of evangelist), you are basically continuing your previous class, only with a different rate of BAB, save, and skill growth. So this means it can be used with any of the other options suggested in this thread (the prerequisites for this class are one feat, which needs a bit of knowledge religion, and being 5th level...so anything can qualify)
2. At the 10th level of the evangelist prestige class, you gain the ability to take on a 'spiritual form'. This grants you a +4 to an ability score of your choice as well as one of a selection of special abilities: flight, gills/swimming, or a single natural attack. Yes, it gives a rage like boost, and you gain another natural attack. So this could be used with a classic bite/claw/claw (possibly by taking a biting race and grabbing natural attack ranger), and then you could add on a sting to get 4 natural attacks.

Those are all pretty cool options, but what are Skinwalkers? I can't find them anywhere.

Thanks!Mondoglimmer wrote:Those are all pretty cool options, but what are Skinwalkers? I can't find them anywhere. They are from a book called "Blood of the Moon". They are basically half were-whatevers.
They are listed on d20pfsrd.com. linky
